Bigg Boss 20 29th October 2026 Written Update: Kanika Becomes Captain as Scout and Yung’s Friendship Falls Apart

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 brings fresh conflicts, unexpected confrontations, and a major fallout between Scout and Yung. What begins with conversations about friendship soon turns into a heated battle during the captaincy task. Mahhi’s decisions upset the housemates, Gullu and Yung get into a physical fight, and Scout finds himself caught between his friends. The episode ends with Kanika emerging as the new captain, while Scout and Yung’s friendship takes a serious hit.

Scout Feels Better After Talking to Love

The episode begins with Scout telling Kanika that he has spoken to Love and is feeling better. He also thanks Qazi for guiding him through the situation. Qazi lightens the mood by saying that he will dance at Scout and Arishfa’s wedding.

Love tells Gullu that Mahhi and Qazi are good at directing, suggesting that she will surely achieve something through their guidance.

At the same time, a disagreement breaks out over the distribution of besan. Mahhi asks Amrapali to give some besan to Gullu. Amrapali explains that there are two packets and asks Love to hand one over to him.

When Mahhi asks Love for the besan, Love says she will give it later. She insists that the housemates should chop the vegetables first because the besan will be needed only at the end. Amrapali then asks Mahhi whether she has received it, and Mahhi explains that Love will give it to her.

Love objects to Mahhi’s version of the conversation and asks her not to twist her words. Their disagreement quickly turns into a verbal argument, setting the tone for the tensions that follow.

Mahhi and Love Become Open Rivals

Amrapali calls Mahhi wicked, while Love asks Scout to stop talking to Mahhi. She accuses Mahhi of making faces behind their backs and suggests that she cannot be trusted.

Uditi tells Mahhi that Love has been looking for an opportunity to pick a fight for quite some time. Mahhi agrees with her assessment and accuses Love and Amrapali of talking behind other people’s backs and making fun of them.

Amrapali shares her own complaints with Scout, claiming that Mahhi mocks everyone when they are not around.

Elsewhere, Yung discusses friendship with Scout, Amrapali, and Love. He explains that he does not have many friends in the house, so he does not feel pressured to return favours. Scout takes offence at the remark, adding another layer of tension to their equation.

Love also asks Amrapali how they can travel to the mountains together. Amrapali responds that Love has already made plans to go there with someone else rather than with her. The exchange hints at growing differences between the two women.

Arishfa tells Scout and Yung that Love makes fun of her acting as well. Later, Yung and Love discuss whether they knew each other before entering the show. Love says she had heard only one of Yung’s songs, while Yung explains that he came to know about her through Bigg Boss.

Scout also discusses the housemates’ preferences with Yung. He believes Aasif will not choose Yung and will prioritise Amrapali. Scout adds that if Gullu is not in the picture, Kanika will surely choose Yung.

Bigg Boss Announces the Captaincy Task

Bigg Boss welcomes the housemates to his geometry class and introduces a captaincy task that tests their speed, balance, and ability to remain inside the designated shapes. The contestants must run and position themselves within the shapes. Anyone who fails to enter a shape for any reason will be eliminated from the captaincy race.

Mahhi takes charge as the dictator of the task. The contestant who reaches the number one position will become the next captain of the house.

The first round sees Uditi and Scout eliminated from the race. In the second round, Mahhi struggles to decide which two contestants should leave the task. She eventually eliminates Manish and Qazi.

Qazi is unhappy with Mahhi’s decision and questions her choice. Their disagreement soon develops into a verbal argument, showing how even a task-related decision can damage relationships inside the house.

Gullu and Yung Get Into a Physical Fight

The third round brings a more serious confrontation. Yung asks Scout not to come out alone, and Scout brings Gullu into the third round as well. Yung appears happy with Scout’s decision.

During the task, Scout points out that Arishfa’s knee has hit his cheek. Arishfa apologises, explaining that the contact was unintentional.

The situation soon escalates when the verbal argument between Yung and Gullu intensifies. Gullu charges at Yung, and the two get into a physical fight.

Scout immediately comforts Gullu. Qazi also intervenes verbally, asking Gullu not to resort to physical violence. He reminds him that Nakul was eliminated for the same reason, warning him about the possible consequences of losing control.

The confrontation affects the other housemates as well. Manish becomes unwell during the fight, prompting Bigg Boss to call him to the medical room.

Yung says that nobody has ever raised a hand against him before and warns that he will not tolerate it if Gullu hits him. Scout continues trying to calm Gullu and asks the others to explain the situation. He describes the fight as normal, a view that does not sit well with Yung.

Yung makes it clear that he has not entered the house to participate in physical fights. The clash leaves the contestants divided, with the question of loyalty becoming just as important as the captaincy task itself.

Scout and Arishfa Clash as the Task Continues

The tension does not end with Gullu and Yung. Scout later asks Arishfa not to jump on him, prompting her to defend herself. Their exchange quickly turns into another verbal argument.

Amrapali supports Scout’s position, saying that he is only warning Arishfa and questioning why she is getting so triggered by his comments. Arishfa, on the other hand, accuses Scout of bullying others.

At the same time, the argument between Yung and Gullu continues. Scout asks Yung not to use abusive language, trying to prevent the confrontation from escalating further.

The fourth round begins amid the ongoing tension. Scout asks Aasif to pull Arishfa, while Amrapali pulls Arishfa out of the game. As a result, both Arishfa and Amrapali are eliminated from the captaincy race.

Scout and Arishfa resume their verbal battle, making it clear that their differences remain unresolved.

Kanika Becomes the New Captain

The final round leaves Kanika as the only contender in the race. With no other contestants remaining to challenge her, Kanika becomes the new captain of the Bigg Boss 20 house.

Her victory brings the task to an end, but the arguments that erupt during the competition continue to affect the housemates.

Scout and Yung’s Friendship Hits a Breaking Point

After the task, Yung confronts Scout, Amrapali, and Love for not supporting him during his fight with Gullu. He tells them not to call him their friend anymore.

Scout questions Yung’s claim that nobody stood by him. Yung insists that Scout did not take his side, while Scout maintains that he did support him during the confrontation.

Their disagreement grows increasingly personal. The situation reaches another level when Yung tells Scout to go and lick Gullu and Kanika. Scout objects to the abusive remark and asks Yung not to speak to him that way.

The argument becomes intense as both men defend their positions. Scout feels that Yung is unfairly accusing him of abandoning their friendship, while Yung believes Scout failed to stand up for him when it mattered.

Yung eventually announces that he will now play solo, signalling a possible shift in his game strategy. Their fallout raises questions about whether the friendship can survive the pressure of the Bigg Boss house.

Precap

In the upcoming episode, Arishfa and Scout continue arguing with each other. Uditi also gets into a confrontation with Scout, who becomes angry when she drags Kashvi into the game.

Review: Friendships Take a Back Seat to the Game

This episode delivers the kind of drama Bigg Boss thrives on, with small disagreements quickly turning into major confrontations. The besan argument between Love and Mahhi highlights the growing divisions in the house, while the captaincy task exposes how fragile the contestants’ friendships have become.

The physical fight between Gullu and Yung is the episode’s most serious moment. Scout’s attempt to comfort Gullu while also addressing Yung’s complaints puts him in a difficult position, but his explanations fail to convince Yung. Their argument after the task becomes the bigger turning point, as Yung’s decision to play solo could reshape the house’s alliances.

Kanika’s captaincy win gives the episode a clear outcome, yet the unresolved clashes steal much of the attention. With Scout, Yung, Arishfa, and Uditi still at odds, the next episode promises more confrontations. The real challenge now is whether the housemates can separate genuine friendships from the demands of the game.
