Yaadein 31st October 2026 Written Update: Gehna Misunderstands Mishri, Srijha Gets Hurt by Mallar’s Decision
The episode begins with Gehna attempting to tie a rope to a tree. Mishri panics and tries to stop her, but Gehna pushes her away and starts swinging from the rope. Mishri is shocked and questions her actions. Gehna calmly explains that whenever she feels sad, she enjoys swinging because it helps improve her mood. Mishri realises that she has misunderstood Gehna’s intentions. She then invites Gehna to join the Karwa Chauth celebrations, and Gehna happily agrees.
Shristi Calls Dev for the Karwa Chauth Ritual
Shristi calls Dev and asks him to come over so they can perform the Karwa Chauth ritual together. Dev agrees to meet her. Soon after, Johala Chap approaches Dev and taunts him about Uditanshu becoming a disciple of Masaan Baba instead of following him. Dev makes a pointed comment about Johala Chap and walks away.
Dev reaches Shristi’s place. During their conversation, Gehna expresses her wish to observe Karwa Chauth with her husband, Uditanshu. She feels sad because Uditanshu has taken Sanyasam, leaving her unable to celebrate the occasion with him as a wife. Dev listens quietly and feels guilty. He silently apologises to Gehna, knowing that she is suffering because of the plan he and Uditanshu have put into motion.
Uditanshu Challenges Himself Before Masaan Baba
At the same time, Masaan Baba questions Uditanshu about bringing him there. Uditanshu explains that he wants to prove his determination to become Masaan Baba’s disciple. He makes it clear that he will remain present at the celebrations but will not participate in any Karwa Chauth rituals.
Masaan Baba appreciates Uditanshu’s determination and praises his decision. Gehna, frustrated with their presence and their choices, comments on both men and asks them to leave.
Dev decides to provoke Uditanshu and Masaan Baba. He warns them that if Uditanshu continues staying there, he will not be able to control himself. Masaan Baba takes the challenge personally and gets furious. He accepts Dev’s challenge on Uditanshu’s behalf, setting the stage for a fresh confrontation.
Karwa Chauth Celebrations Bring Emotional Conflicts
As the festivities continue, husbands write their names on their wives’ hands with mehendi. Dev also participates in the ritual with Shristi, adding a special moment to their Karwa Chauth celebrations.
At night, Masaan Baba receives a phone call and steps away to answer it. During this time, Meena gets lost in thoughts about her husband, who abandoned her twelve years ago. Her memories bring back the pain of their separation.
Elsewhere, Srijha decides to observe the Karwa Chauth fast for Mallar. She writes the first letter of his name on her hand, hoping to express her feelings through the ritual. Mallar speaks to her about the fast and reveals that he plans to observe it for Jia. Srijha is deeply upset by his confession. Her expectations clash with Mallar’s feelings, leaving her hurt.
Masaan Baba Joins Hands with Devayani
Masaan Baba later speaks to Devayani over the phone. He asks her to provide information about Dev. Devayani agrees, saying that she has seen his message and considers Dev an enemy of both of them.
Their conversation hints at a possible alliance against Dev. With Masaan Baba now seeking information about him, Dev’s problems could soon take a serious turn.
The episode ends with several relationships caught in emotional turmoil, while the growing tension between Dev and Masaan Baba promises more drama.

Gehna’s misunderstanding of Mishri provides a brief lighter moment, while her longing to celebrate the festival with Uditanshu adds an emotional layer to the episode. Srijha’s disappointment after learning that Mallar is fasting for Jia also creates a compelling relationship conflict.
The bigger intrigue lies in Masaan Baba’s growing interest in Dev. Devayani’s willingness to help him suggests that trouble is brewing, and the revelation about Dev and Shristi’s divorce could give Masaan Baba another reason to question their equation. The episode builds several tracks without rushing towards a single dramatic payoff.
