Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 31st October 2026 Written Update: Myra’s Surprise Visit Leaves Abhira Shocked at Tanya’s Wedding
The episode begins with Kabir welcoming the guests by touching their feet. The Poddars are surprised by his respectful gesture. Nandani warmly welcomes the Poddars, while Tanya greets Barkha. Barkha feels shy around the new people and hides behind Samar. Samar explains that Barkha takes time to open up to unfamiliar faces.
A girl approaches Kabir and asks whether he missed her. Abhira then asks Nandani to begin Tanya’s mehendi ceremony. The wedding celebrations get underway, but the atmosphere is not entirely comfortable for everyone.
The Damanis Make the Poddars Feel Unwelcome
The Damanis exchange disapproving looks towards the Poddars. Abhira notices Bhairvi staring at them and asks Tanya about it. Tanya explains that only Samar and Nandani seem genuinely happy about their presence. She regrets not informing the Poddars about the situation earlier.
Abhira asks Tanya whether she herself is happy to have them there. She makes it clear that Tanya’s feelings matter more than anyone else’s opinion. Tanya confirms that she is happy, putting Abhira’s concern to rest.

Tanya’s Mehendi and Sangeet Celebrations Begin
Bhairvi applies henna to Tanya and asks Nandani to continue the ritual. Tanya understands that Bhairvi is upset, even though she does not openly express her displeasure.
Raghav and Nandani take charge of the celebrations. They begin dancing and announce that the sangeet function will also take place alongside the mehendi ceremony. Their performance sets the mood, and Tanya and Samar join them on the dance floor.

Myra Realises That Tanya’s Golden Sari Is Missing
Back at home, Myra realises that Arman and Abhira have left Tanya’s sari behind. At the function, Abhira is asked to apply mehendi to Tanya, but she misses Myra’s call. Arman also fails to answer when Myra tries reaching him.
The celebrations continue, with Lekha and Chadha insisting that Madhav, Manisha, Manoj and Vidya join the dance. They eventually get them onto the dance floor. Nandani appreciates Madhav’s dancing, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Tanya tries to speak to Barkha, but Barkha avoids her. She remembers Neena’s warning and keeps her distance. Tanya is surprised by Barkha’s behaviour and cannot understand why she is refusing to talk to her.
Myra Decides to Visit the Damani House
Later, Bhairvi insists that Arman and Abhira should also dance. The guests eagerly wait to see the expensive golden sari that the Poddars have promised Tanya.
Myra decides to visit the Damani house and deliver the sari herself. She remembers Kabir and feels worried about attending the function because she might have to face him. Thinking about the family’s reputation, she decides not to draw attention to herself. Her plan is to stay out of sight and quietly hand over the sari to Abhira and Arman.
At the function, Manisha praises the golden sari. Bhairvi grows impatient with the discussion and asks the family to show the sari instead of merely talking about it.
Abhira opens the sari box, but she is left shocked by what she sees inside. The contents are clearly not what she expected. Kabir learns that Abhira may have received another sari, adding to the confusion surrounding the missing gift.
