Maya Questions Kabir for Taking Saanvi to Lunch
The episode begins with Maya questioning Kabir about taking Saanvi out for lunch. Kabir calmly explains that Saanvi was hungry, and he considers it his responsibility to make sure the girl gets something to eat.
Maya reminds him that Saanvi is not a little child but a teenage girl, which is precisely what bothers her. Kabir argues that he would have done the same for Simi and Ruhi. Maya immediately objects, pointing out that they are their own children and Saanvi is not. She warns him against comparing them.
Maya then questions what people will think when they see Kabir taking Saanvi to a restaurant. Kabir makes it clear that he does not care about gossip. Maya takes his response further and asks whether he genuinely does not care about his reputation or is secretly enjoying the attention.
Fed up with her suspicious thinking, Kabir tells Maya that her words have deeply disappointed him and ends the call.
Maya Humiliates Saanvi Over the Lunch Outing
Meanwhile, Saanvi complains to Sukumani about the pain in her leg and suggests visiting the hospital. Sukumani worries that Maya will scold her and recommends an oil massage, assuring her that she will feel better.
Just then, Maya arrives and calls Saanvi shameless. She demands to know why Saanvi went to a restaurant with Kabir and questions what gives her the right to do so.
Sukumani intervenes and asks Saanvi to explain what actually happened. Saanvi says Kabir simply asked whether she had eaten. When she admitted that she had not, he took her out for lunch.
Maya asks why she did not refuse. Saanvi explains that she tried, but Kabir insisted. Maya mocks her explanation and suggests that Kabir held her hand so she could not say no.
Sukumani asks Maya to speak respectfully, but Maya continues accusing Saanvi of trying to impress her husband. Sukumani warns her not to cross her limits. Maya ignores her and claims that Saanvi must have enjoyed Kabir’s company and the attention she received.
Saanvi repeats that she had initially refused the invitation. Maya then threatens to teach her a lesson and put her in her place. When Sukumani points out that Maya has crossed the line, Maya turns against her own mother and blames her for raising Saanvi poorly. She declares that she will make a final decision that day and storms off.
Saanvi Gives Maya a Fitting Reply
After the confrontation, Saanvi tells Sukumani that Baldev and Malini gifted her a kurti and gold earrings. She then excuses herself to fetch hot water.
Later, Maya stops her again and questions how she returned home. Saanvi replies that she travelled by auto. Maya asks whether Kabir offered her a lift, and Saanvi admits that he did but she refused.
Maya sarcastically suggests that Saanvi must have enjoyed sitting in the passenger seat on the way to the restaurant. She adds that several people, including office staff, saw them together. Maya then asks whether Saanvi felt proud of having lunch with a famous personality’s husband.
Saanvi calmly replies that she was happy because it felt like having a meal with her own father. Her answer angers Maya, who walks away.
Sukumani appreciates Saanvi for giving Maya a fitting reply. Saanvi clarifies that she was simply telling the truth. She genuinely considers Kabir a father figure and would have refused the invitation if anyone else had offered to take her out.
Aditya Learns About Maya’s Behaviour
Aditya arrives and jokingly remarks that he has missed all the drama. Saanvi reminds Sukumani that Aditya had actually seen them the previous day. Aditya quickly covers up, claiming that he only noticed them while he was out on a work errand.
Sukumani fills him in on the day’s events. Aditya admits that he cannot understand Maya’s strange behaviour. He points out that despite Maya’s repeated insults, Saanvi remains strong and refuses to let her words break her spirit. He considers that something worth appreciating.
Saanvi shares her emotional distress with them, and Aditya cracks a joke to lift her mood.
Maya Insults Saanvi’s Birth and Faces Her Sharp Retort
Later, Kabir returns home and tries to lighten the atmosphere with his usual jokes. Maya immediately asks whether he bought a gift for Saanvi. Kabir denies it and tells her to ask Saanvi directly. He then calls Saanvi over so that the misunderstanding can be cleared up.
Saanvi shows Maya the gifts, and Kabir asks who gave them to her. She explains that Baldev and Malini gifted them. She also mentions that their adopted daughter is named Ritu.
Maya twists the situation and accuses Saanvi of charming men everywhere to receive expensive gifts. Saanvi finally loses her patience and answers back. Maya insists that nobody gives costly presents to a girl they have known for just two days unless something improper has happened.
Her accusations become even more personal when she insults Saanvi’s birth and calls her the product of her mother’s mistake.
Deeply hurt, Saanvi responds sharply, telling Maya that she must be speaking from personal experience if she views the world in such a negative way. The remark stings Maya, who becomes emotional and walks away.
Sukumani tries to comfort Saanvi. She admits that Maya’s thinking has become completely distorted and says she no longer recognises her daughter. Sukumani recalls that Maya was not like this before returning to Delhi.

Maya orders Saanvi to pack her belongings and leave, declaring that she no longer needs her help. Saanvi questions why Maya is so afraid of her. She points out that she is highly educated, runs a business successfully and has even worked as a teacher in Agra.
Maya immediately asks who told her about these details. Saanvi responds that she already knows many of Maya’s secrets, leaving Maya startled.

Maya’s jealousy has now turned into a disturbing obsession, and her repeated accusations against Saanvi are becoming increasingly personal. Insulting Saanvi’s birth crosses a particularly ugly line, but Saanvi’s response shows that she is no longer willing to tolerate the humiliation silently. Kabir’s simple act of taking Saanvi to lunch has exposed the insecurity in Maya’s relationship, while Sukumani’s comments hint that something changed in Maya after her return to Delhi. The precap adds another layer of suspense: Saanvi seems to know far more about Maya’s past than Maya realises.
