Vasudha Upcoming Twist: Rudraani Questions Vasudha’s Worth As Chauhan Bahu, Chandrika’s Business Succession Decision Comes Under Fire

The upcoming track of Vasudha is set to bring a major confrontation at Dev and Vasudha’s grand reception party. What should have been a joyful celebration of the couple’s wedding soon turns into a humiliating experience for Vasudha when Rudraani publicly questions her place in the prestigious Chauhan family. From a shocking slap to insulting remarks about her background and abilities, Rudraani leaves no opportunity to make Vasudha feel small. But her real target appears to be Chandrika, whose decision to make Vasudha the future successor of Chauhan Industries has clearly unsettled her.

The trouble begins when the reception arrangements run into an unexpected problem. With the catering staff falling short, Savitri and the other household members struggle to manage the guests. Seeing the situation, Vasudha steps forward to help serve them. She takes a tray of drinks and begins attending to the guests instead of standing back and watching everyone struggle.

Savitri tries to stop her, reminding her that she is now the elder daughter-in-law of the Chauhan family. She believes Vasudha should maintain the dignity associated with the family name rather than personally serving guests. But Vasudha is not someone who can ignore people in need. She insists on helping, even though Savitri remains concerned about how the guests might perceive her actions.

Unfortunately, the situation takes an ugly turn when the drinks spill onto Rudraani’s expensive saree. Rudraani loses her temper and immediately holds Vasudha responsible for ruining her outfit. Vasudha apologizes and offers to clean the stain, but Rudraani is not interested in accepting her apology. She humiliates Vasudha in front of the guests and even slaps her publicly.

The slap leaves Vasudha shocked and hurt. The other women at the party begin passing comments, questioning how someone who is now the elder Chauhan daughter-in-law could behave like a household staff member. Instead of appreciating her willingness to help, they mock her for serving guests. Rudraani adds to the humiliation by asking whether Vasudha even knows how to spell Chauhan Industries.

Rudraani Attacks Vasudha’s Background And Chandrika’s Decision

The confrontation soon becomes bigger than the spilled drinks. Rudraani openly questions Vasudha’s qualities and asks what she actually brings to the Chauhan family. She taunts her about her education, hobbies, personality and abilities, making it clear that she does not consider Vasudha suitable for the position she has been given.

Rudraani then turns towards Chandrika and criticizes her decision to marry her CEO son to a woman whom she describes as someone who used to sweep, mop and wash utensils. Her remarks are deliberately insulting, and she uses Vasudha’s humble background to suggest that she does not belong in the world of the Chauhans.

She also mocks Chandrika for choosing Vasudha over educated, polished and capable women who could supposedly lead conferences and companies. The comments are not just an attack on Vasudha; they are also an attempt to undermine Chandrika’s judgment as the head of the family and business.

Rudraani’s biggest objection comes when she brings up Chandrika’s announcement that Vasudha will become her successor. She questions how Chandrika could entrust the future of Chauhan Industries to someone she believes lacks the necessary professional qualities. She even warns that if Vasudha makes a mistake, Chandrika’s lifetime of hard work and reputation could be at risk.

This makes the reception confrontation particularly significant. Rudraani is not merely unhappy about Vasudha becoming Dev’s wife. She is clearly uncomfortable with the possibility that Vasudha could eventually occupy Chandrika’s position and gain control over the business.

Rudraani Compares Vasudha With Divya

Rudraani continues her attack by bringing Divya into the conversation. She points out that although Divya may also come from a different background, her appearance, mannerisms, dressing style and confidence make her look more like a Chauhan daughter-in-law.

By comparing the two women, Rudraani attempts to make Vasudha feel that she is not polished or presentable enough to represent the family. She even suggests that Vasudha should change her habits and personality to become worthy of the position the Chauhans have given her.

Her remarks reveal the narrow way she judges people. For Rudraani, a person’s worth seems to depend on appearance, social background and outward sophistication rather than honesty, hard work or character. Vasudha, who has repeatedly proved her loyalty to the family, is now being judged simply because she does not fit Rudraani’s idea of an elite businesswoman.

Rudraani also accuses Chandrika of making an emotional decision by promising to hand over her business position to Vasudha. She suggests that Chandrika is allowing personal feelings to influence a decision that should be based entirely on professional ability.

Will Chandrika Defend Vasudha And Stand By Her Decision?

The biggest question now is how Chandrika will respond to Rudraani’s continuous insults. Chandrika has already recognized Vasudha’s dedication, courage and ability to protect the family. She has also publicly announced that Vasudha will soon take her place in Chauhan Industries. Rudraani’s comments are therefore a direct challenge to both Chandrika’s authority and her faith in her elder daughter-in-law.

Vasudha may be deeply hurt by the public humiliation, but she has never been someone who measures her worth through expensive clothes, social status or other people’s approval. Her journey has been about proving herself through her actions. The real test now will be whether she can turn Rudraani’s criticism into motivation and demonstrate that leadership is not determined by one’s background.

Rudraani may believe she has exposed Vasudha’s weaknesses, but her behaviour could instead bring out Chandrika’s protective side. Will Chandrika give Rudraani a fitting reply for slapping and humiliating Vasudha? Will she firmly stand by her decision to make Vasudha the next head of Chauhan Industries? And will Vasudha get an opportunity to prove that she deserves the responsibility?

The upcoming episodes promise an intense clash between Rudraani’s class-conscious attitude and Chandrika’s growing confidence in Vasudha. The reception party may have begun as a celebration of Dev and Vasudha’s marriage, but it is now turning into the first major test of Vasudha’s position as the future face of the Chauhan family.
