Bigg Boss 20 6th November 2026 Written Update: Arishfa Becomes the Centre of Diwali Drama as Luv Clashes with Her
The episode begins with Yung chatting with Amrapali while sitting on her bed. He talks about Scout and Luv, pointing out how the two keep arguing with each other but eventually end up getting along. Luv is also seen having a conversation with Scout.
Arishfa Gets a Special Diwali Gift from Bigg Boss
Bigg Boss addresses the contestants and points out that everyone has received messages from their families except Arishfa. To make her Diwali special, Bigg Boss announces a unique opportunity for her. If the majority of the housemates support her, Arishfa will directly become the captain.
The contestants are asked to make their choices. Those who want Arishfa to become captain must enter through Door 2 and press the green button, while those who oppose her captaincy must enter through the X door and press the red button.
Scout, Uditi, Kanika, Mahi, Qazi, Gullu and Yung all press the green button, showing their support for Arishfa.
Later, Arishfa discusses the household responsibilities with Manish and begins talking about how the duties will be managed.
Gullu and Kanika Share a Playful Moment
Gullu and Kanika get into a playful argument over an item. Kanika tells Gullu that they will have to manage with it for the entire month. Gullu snatches it from her, prompting Kanika to try and take it back. He hides it in his undergarments, but Kanika eventually manages to retrieve it.
Yung later talks to Kanika and Amrapali about his promise to Arishfa that he will handle all the cleaning work for her. He then imitates Luv, entertaining Amrapali and Kanika with his performance. Luv is busy cooking in the kitchen and later approaches Kanika for a conversation. Yung struggles to control his laughter while watching them talk, and Luv eventually walks away.
Arishfa assigns Yung the responsibility of cleaning both bathrooms. Yung requests her to give him another task, explaining that he has been doing the same work ever since he entered the house.
Later, Kanika asks Scout whether Kashvi is his only friend.
Contestants Begin Their Morning with Dance and Banter
The contestants wake up to the morning music and start their day with some dancing. Kanika, Amrapali and Luv enjoy the song, while Arishfa wakes Gullu and tells him that his spine needs to be straight. Otherwise, he will be called spineless.
Gullu takes the joke further and asks Luv to bring a wet towel for his spinepatti. He then tells Arishfa that he is spineless. Luv brings a wet towel inside a box and joins in on the joke.
The fun soon turns into an argument when Mahi asks Arishfa for a kitchen utensil. Arishfa approaches Luv and asks him to clean the box and the wet towel, explaining that the box will be needed for cooking. Luv asks Gullu to clean it, but Gullu refuses and tells him to do it himself.
Arishfa insists that Luv complete the task immediately, and he agrees. Luv then questions her about who told her that the box was needed. After cleaning it, he gets into an argument with Mahi, assuming that she was the one who had requested it.
Mahi complains about Luv to Yung, while Luv also makes remarks about her. Their disagreement soon turns into another argument. Mahi later tells Qazi that she does not want to stoop to Luv’s level and is tired of the constant clashes.
Amrapali teases Luv, saying that she feels he is taking revenge on Mahi on her behalf. Luv plays along with her comment.
Mahi Faces Complaints About Her Breakfast
Yung approaches Mahi and complains that her breakfast does not taste good. Manish also comments on the food and tells her that he is unhappy with its taste. Gullu, on the other hand, chats with Kanika, Luv and Scout.
The repeated criticism leaves Mahi emotional. She shares her frustration with Qazi and says that she cannot deal with arguments first thing in the morning. The disagreements with Yung and Luv have clearly affected her mood.
Scout and Luv also get into another argument. Luv tells Scout that he is the one who always walks away from their conversations, not her. She adds that he is the one who needs clarity in his life.
Luv walks away, but Scout asks her to return. She tells him that she will be back after five minutes. Elsewhere, Amrapali says that she cannot eat kaccha food, while Yung teaches Uditi how to handle situations through clever conversation.
Bigg Boss Arranges a Special Diwali Celebration
Bigg Boss informs the contestants that all the necessary items for decorating the house and preparing Diwali food have been arranged in the storeroom. The housemates thank Bigg Boss for the arrangements.
Scout is later seen sketching, while Mahi appreciates Yung’s efforts in decorating the kitchen. Yung explains that he has experience decorating his own home.
Arishfa seeks suggestions from Uditi and Amrapali about what they should prepare for everyone. She asks Luv to make aloo puri. Luv agrees to prepare the vegetables but tells the others to make the puris themselves. Uditi refuses, saying that she is tired, and Luv comments on her response.
The Diwali preparations bring another disagreement when Luv and Arishfa get into a heated argument over the use of kesar in the food.
Luv and Arishfa’s Kesar Argument Escalates
Yung wishes Luv a Happy Diwali, and she becomes emotional during the exchange. Luv later apologises to Arishfa for raising his voice at her.
Their peace does not last long. Arishfa asks Luv about the food, and the conversation quickly turns into another heated argument. Arishfa accuses Luv of stealing the kesar. Luv denies the allegation and clarifies that she had only kept it rather than stealing it. Gullu and Kanika watch the confrontation and comment on the growing tension between them.
The disagreement continues later when Luv talks to Scout about Arishfa. Arishfa approaches them and confronts Luv. Luv asks her to leave, explaining that she needs to finish her work. Their repeated clashes make the Diwali preparations increasingly stressful.
Qazi and Scout Celebrate Diwali in Different Avatars
As the celebrations continue into the night, Qazi transforms into a Gen Z character, while Scout takes on an old-school avatar. The two exchange Diwali wishes in their different styles.
Later, Qazi talks to Uditi, Scout and Arishfa about wet socks. He asks Scout to bring his sock, and Scout follows his instructions. Arishfa and Uditi decide to leave after noticing the socks.
The episode ends with the contestants celebrating Diwali, though the festive atmosphere is repeatedly interrupted by arguments and playful exchanges.

Arishfa’s special captaincy opportunity gives the episode a positive start, with seven contestants openly supporting her. The Diwali celebrations bring some entertaining moments, especially Yung’s imitation of Luv and the playful spinepatti joke involving Gullu. Yet the biggest focus remains the growing friction between Luv, Arishfa and Mahi. Luv and Arishfa’s repeated arguments over household duties and kesar take away some of the festive spirit. Mahi also struggles to deal with the constant criticism. The episode balances humour, emotional moments and house politics, keeping the contestants’ equations at the centre of the drama.
