Udne Ki Aasha 8th November 2026 Written Update: Tejas Abandons Laksh Before the Competition as Sachin Steps In

The episode begins with Sayali and Sachin desperately searching for Pankhudi’s missing costume bag. They check several places but fail to find it. Pankhudi loses her patience and blames the daughters-in-law for forgetting such an important responsibility. She complains that everyone remembers unnecessary things, but nobody remembers to bring her costume bag.

Sayali apologises and accepts her mistake. Sachin tries to calm everyone down and suggests returning home to check once again. Sayali stops him because the first performance is about to begin. She asks Sachin to take the children to the ground while she stays back with Pankhudi and Kaku.

Tejas Refuses to Participate in the Tug-of-War with Laksh

The preparations for the tug-of-war competition begin. Laksh is excited about participating with his father and confidently believes that they will win. He reminds Tejas that they have already practised together.

To Laksh’s disappointment, Tejas refuses to participate. He becomes irritated when the child repeatedly requests him to join the competition. His unexpected reaction leaves Laksh confused.

Sachin notices the situation and questions Tejas about his reluctance. He asks whether Tejas is afraid of the competition or uncomfortable participating as Laksh’s father.

Sachin reminds him that Laksh considers him his father and expects him to fulfil that responsibility. He further explains that even an uncle should treat a child like his own son. Sachin tries his best to make Tejas understand how much the competition means to Laksh, but Tejas remains unwilling.

Laksh becomes disappointed, but Sachin steps in to encourage him. He promises that they will win together and reminds Laksh about their practice. Sachin asks him not to lose confidence and assures him that they can still perform well.

Meanwhile, Pankhudi proudly tells the other children that her father is very strong. She confidently claims that nobody can defeat him in the competition and believes everyone will accept defeat after seeing his strength.

Akash Disappoints Laksh Again

The attention shifts to the other competition rounds. Laksh asks Roshni whether she will participate in the mother-child dance round with him. He also wonders why Akash has not arrived yet.

Roshni calls Akash and reminds him that the competition is about to begin. Akash makes excuses about his office workload and asks her not to disturb him with repeated calls.

Roshni gets upset because Laksh has been asking about his father since morning. She struggles to explain Akash’s absence and eventually assures Laksh that they will manage somehow.

The host soon announces that all fathers must report to the ground with their children for the tug-of-war competition. The participants prepare for the event as their families cheer for them.

Tejas Chooses His Engagement Preparations Over Laksh

Just as the competition is about to begin, Tejas receives a call regarding his engagement sherwani trial. The woman on the call insists that he arrive immediately because she has already taken leave for the appointment.

Tejas becomes worried about missing the trial. He realises that this opportunity could change his life completely. Although he briefly thinks about Laksh and the commitment he made to the child, he ultimately decides to leave without considering the emotional consequences.

Laksh notices Tejas leaving and becomes distressed. He asks Sachin where his father is going and wonders who will participate with him now.

Sachin tries to reassure Laksh, saying that Tejas will return after finishing his work. But the family members are disappointed by Tejas’s decision. They criticise his habit of running away whenever responsibilities arise.

Laksh once again feels abandoned by the person he expects to stand beside him. His disappointment becomes even more painful because he was eagerly waiting to participate with Tejas.

Sachin Steps In to Win the Competition for Laksh

With Tejas gone, Sachin takes responsibility for the tug-of-war competition. He understands how much the event means to Laksh and Pankhudi and decides to give his best for their sake.

The game begins, and Sachin puts all his strength into winning. He wants to ensure that Laksh does not feel let down by the absence of Tejas. His determination reflects the genuine care he has developed for the children.

The episode ends with Sachin fighting for a win while Laksh continues to deal with Tejas’s disappointing decision.

Precap: Laksh Learns the Truth About His Biological Parents

Laksh comes to know that Sachin and Sayali are his biological parents. This revelation could completely change his understanding of his identity and his relationship with the family.

Review

This episode highlights the emotional difference between Tejas and Sachin. Tejas repeatedly fails to understand Laksh’s expectations, choosing his engagement preparations over a promise that means so much to the child. His decision leaves Laksh heartbroken once again.

Sachin emerges as the dependable figure who refuses to let Laksh face another disappointment. His willingness to participate and fight for the children makes the competition more than just a game. Roshni’s struggle with Akash’s absence also reinforces the children’s longing for parental support.

The biggest development is saved for the precap, where Laksh learns the truth about his biological parents. This revelation could bring a major emotional twist to the story and change the dynamics between Sachin, Sayali and Laksh.
