IIFA 2014 Awards – List of Winners announced on 26th April 2014 in Florida, USA

IIFA 2014

Interational Indian Film Academy awards (IIFA) celebrations and awards 2014 were held from 23rd to 26th April 2014 at Tampa Bay, Florida and first time to be held in USA. IIFA was first introduced in the year 2000. IIFA celebrates and honor the Bollywood’s best in the field of Arts and technology. IIFA is also known as Bollywood’s Oscars. This year, IIFA awards are sponsored by Tata Motors. Here is the list of awards winners released after last night’s (26th April) awards ceremony in Florida.

Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema: Shatrugan Sinha. Presented by his daughter and actress Sonakshi Sinha.

Best Playback Singer Male: Arjit Singh

Best Playback Singer Female: Shreya Ghoshal

Best Story: Prasoon Joshi for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Best performance in a negative role: Rishi kapoor

Best performance in a comic role: Arshad Warsi for Jolly L.L.B

Best Director: Rakeysh Mehra for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Best Performance in a Leading Role Male: Farhan Akhtar for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Best Performance in a Leading Role Female: Deepika Padukone

Best Picture: Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
