Sandhya – Deepika Singh got married with Rohit Raj

Sandhya Diya aur Baati Hum

Deepika Singh, actress playing the acclaimed and popular role of Sandhya in Star Plus’s show Diya aur Baati Hum (DABH) got married with Rohit Raj Goyal (who is also the show’s director) on 2nd May 2014 in Thane.

The wedding procession (Baraat) was very lively with friends and guests dancing with Rohit arriving to the wedding venue on a horse which is according to the tradition, Deepika and Rohit graciously attended the guests during their wedding. Apart from DABH cast – Sooraj, Bhabho, Babasa, Commandos (even Roma), and others, some of the other guests were actors – Karan Mehra with wife Nisha Rawal, Divyanka Tripathi (Ishita), Ratan Rajput and Aniruddh Dave. Anas Rashid wants to give one suggestion to Deepika which is that she should not call Rohit Sir now. Divyanka speaks on knowing Rohit from the time of her first serial – Dulhann

The main attraction of the night was Bhabho’s Nagin dance during the time of Rohit’s Baraat. The couple took seven circumambulations (Saath Pheere) which is the core component of their wedding. After the wedding ceremony, the bride Deepika became a bit sad as she will be leaving her parents to start her married life with Rohit.
