After Raman insulted Shagun publicly in the sangeet party, she could not bear it that Raman has moved on in life and is no longer her lover. She cries miserably and tells Adi what Raman did. She blames Raman infront of Adi which makes Adi fume over his father. Shagun takes a step and commits suicide. Adi rushes her to the hospital and also complains to the police that Raman is responsible for pushing his mum to take this step. Raman gets arrested and is shocked to know Adi did the complaint.
At the last minute, Shagun changes her statement, saying Raman does not have anything to do with this matter. Raman is released and comes home. Meanwhile, Mihir and Mihika get engaged happily, and everyone come to know that It was Raman’s plan to make Mihir stand up for his love. Ishita is glad knowing Raman supports true love. She thanks him with a Punjabi speech which Raman misses, but hears it on the phone leaving from the venue. Raman tells the Shagun’s chapter to Ishita which makes her worry. She offers support to him and they wish Adi’s heart gets clean of Shagun’s poison one day. Hope so!!
