Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 continues with its 2nd grand premiere tonight @ 9 PM. Guests on the show: Actor/Megastar – Akshay Kumar and Actress/Superstar Sonakshi Sinha – the team of Holiday. Akshay makes an entry with Sonakshi on a bike on Aaj Dil Shayrana lagta hain. song from their movie Holiday. Akshay also dances with an old women graciously on stage as Madhuri wanted him to choose someone from audience. Akshay proposes a movie date to Puja and she feels shy and then proposes scooter ride to her and gives her a ride (Tu hi To Hain song)
Performers tonight:
– Kritika Kamra with her dance partner Savio Barnes [sensual dance act of 3D Holographic Dance Projection first time on television] on the Titli song from the movie Chennai Express. Ranvir calls them Spider-man (Maqqad Manas).
– Shakti Mohan (trained dancer and a dancing sensation) with Tushar Kalia: Dance is her life, she dances in pure form of Ballet dance (on her toes) on the song Tere Deewani.. sufi song and also sensuous. Gets full praise from the judges. Palak confronts her, and both challenges each other by dancing. [Performer of the Week]
– Purab Kohli with Mohena Kumari [Aerial stunt with ropes on a suno na sangemarmar song from Youngistaan movie]. His mantra is life is calling, Dil Ko Suno (listen your heart). They performed the dance by walking and moving at 90 degrees (perpendicular) on the wall.
– Madhuri Dixit (on a dazzling and special performance – Dhoom Machale song) with three choreographers: Puneet, Tushar, and Deepak.
– Akshat Singh (9-years old) with Vaishnavi [Dabangg-style Freestyle/Hip-Hop dance] on the BOSS movie title song. On Akshat’s tummy, its written Six Pack. Mix Western with Govinda style and is referred as Chota Packet. Karan sees Akshat as a finalist.
– Sreesanth with Choreographer: Dances on Hip-Hop dance style on the song – Zinda. (Bhaag Milka Bhaag movie). For Sreesanth, Jhalak stage is ‘This is It’ and gets full praise from judges and thinks Jhalak opportunity as new lease of life.
– Andy dances on the dance form Gyrokinesis/contemporary with his partner.
– Lauren Gottlieb and Salman Y. Khan to boost the confidence of Jhalak 7 contestants and to set a bar for top-notch performances [Karan calls them as challengers]. They will introduce new dance Theme every week and the next week’s Theme is International Dance form with a Twist (for e.g., Salsa + Crazy leg, which needs lot of energy and agility in the legs). They are seen to dance on the song Tamanche pe Disco.. So, next week the contestants have to dance by mixing two dance forms.
Akshay is seen in an entertaining mood with the contestants of Jhalak. He challenges the contestants to climb while running on the black slider on the stage. Many of them failed to climb, and Akshat tries with courage wearing a black jacket with BOSS written on it, and falls flat on it, and Sukhwinder Singh instead of climbing, runs on the other side of the slider invoking much laughter on Madhuri and Sonakshi’s face. Furthermore, Akshay challenges Sreesanth and wants him to bowl at him while he will bat. Akshay bats on stage and Sreesanth bowls at him in dancing style. Akshay greets Sreesanth after their fun sequence.
