Rags and Menka come to know about the major misunderstanding between Pratima and Yuvraaj, that he has chosen Soumya but she heard Suhani. Pratima takes the proposal for Suhani and her parents agree happily. Soon their engagement is kept and Rags waits for the moment when she can see anger on Yuvraaj’s face, and how he regrets seeing Suhani in Soumya’s place. Yuvraaj goes to Delhi to bring a jewellery set for Soumya, which she likes a lot. When he comes in the engagement function, he smiles seeing Soumya who brings down Suhani with her. He gifts Soumya the set and Suhani forwards her hand to take it. Soumya says Suhani is the one who is getting engaged to him. Yuvraaj is shocked and looks for Pratima to talk to her. Rags is very happy seeing Yuvraaj in this big problem and waits for him to create a big issue and insult Suhani infront of everyone on her bad looks.
Yuvraaj sees Soumya and holds her hand taking her with him. Pankaj sees this and finds odd, before he could hear anything, Lata takes him. Yuvraaj confronts Soumya asking why did she make Suhani take her place, is this new game she is playing with him but why, afterall she knows he loves her and she too has reciprocated it by lighting the Chinese lamp. He does not know Suhani did it and she loves him. Soumya is shocked when he says he loves her. She feels bad for Suhani. Soumya tells Yuvraaj that he misunderstood her friendly gestures and she does not love him. Yuvraaj gets shattered. Pratima gets unwell and the matter get postponed. Later on, Yuvraaj makes it clear to Soumya to come in the engagement and he will get engaged only to her and asks her to explain Suhani that they love each other.
