This is one of the best homely show on Star Plus, with no Saas bahu fights, no annoyance between the families related to the main leads, and it has just love, love and love in it. Akshara’s Dadi does the most elderly role and she is the one who is responsible for keeping her family intact with love, trust and respect. Even Naitik has an elderly person, his Dadda ji who always treats everyone equal. Yeh Rishta …. Started on 12th January 2009, and has completed 1500 episodes. That calls for a celebration and the show brought a good twist in the form of Akshara and Naitik’s 10th wedding anniversary. The show’s main leads Akshara and Naitik are such an adorable couple, who does not let any problem come in between them. Whatever comes, they deal with maturity, smartness and keeping calm. Karan Mehra and Hina Khan are really heart soothing. Seeing them act, is just relaxing in a spa. They bring light romantic moments which makes us smile, and their support for each other is unmoved. The show has very talented and strong supporting cast which are equally shouldering the show to lead on Star Plus.
Talking about the current track, the family has always surprised the couple by their beautiful party arrangements and their lovely togetherness moments. They plan something huge on their 10th anniversary and book a resort to let the couple have some romantic moments. While Akshara is very shy, Naitik is very excited as he really wanted a good break from work. They head to the resort and spend quality time together, while the family starts their surprise arrangements. Naitik and Akshara think if they met before like lovers and have a love marriage instead of arranged. They plan a love story and its shown to the viewers to make us pleased.
While they come back home, they are made busy and locked in their room. The family gives them a beautiful surprise by donning the famous lovers’ attire and bringing their stories live on stage. They plan to bring 10 such stories for their 10th anniversary. Dadda ji and Bhabhimaa do the roles of Saleem and Anarkali, while Rajpanna and Devyaani revive the popular Heer Ranjha love story. Vishwamber and Rajshri become Paro and Devdas, Jasmeet’s parents Pammi and Sethi become Laila Majnu, and Omi and Sunaina become Dhola Maaru and do the Katputli dance. Rashmi and her mum in law Rama become Shirin Farhad, as Nikhil is out of city.
Mohit and Nandini become DDLJ’s Raj and Simran. They look really cute together. Varsha and Shaurya dance on Dil Deewana song, doing Prem and Suman’s role from Maine Pyaar Kiya. Anshu and Jasmeet have no idea what to do and just revive Akshara and Naitik’s love story. Lastly, the 10th couple, Akshara and Naitik themselves dance on the song Main Agar Kahoon and look marvelous together. The kids have a dance performance as Naksh becomes the cupid between Ananya and Yash and present a cute love story. The grand celebrations of their 10th anniversary bring delight and is a must watch. The show has given us beautiful memories to cherish and we will always wish to see more of Hina and Karan, and wish this show to make many many more episodes go on to entertain us by its simple and novel storyline. This is the only show, with no Dhak Dhak Dhaam moments, which shakes the heart. This show is a light hearted family entertainment material which makes us relieved and just sit back and enjoy being cool and happy. Watch YRKKH on Star Plus. We wish all the best to this show.
