Halla Bol 2 2nd Episode with Karan Tacker, Self-Respect in Marriage, 7th December 2014 on Bindass – Promo Snapshot

Halla Bol Season 2 on Bindass with Karan Tacker

The story is about a young married couple. The young couple go out together at a restaurant and the man’s wife Anjali informs him of feeling lucky to have him as her life partner and shows happiness. On that note, Anjali takes a selfie with him. Later, as time progresses in their married life, he speaks to her that taking care of children is the girl’s job and responsibility. During a family dinner, his mother speaks that a daughter-in law has been brought in the home and thinks that she will change their names for some reason. Anjali later hears from people and relatives that in marriage there are  compromises and becomes dejected.

Nevertheless, she gets an opportunity and goes out to attend an internship interview so as to work and it turns out that she gets selected. She feels happy and informs her husband about it who came to meet her. He becomes annoyed to hear that news and moreover slaps her right there on the road. He tells her clearly that she will neither do any work nor internship and doesn’t listen to her. She carries pain after seeing his behavior and abuse. Some of the questions are, How they have got married ? How much he has changed after marriage – started controlling her and violent activity like slapping (even in public) ? What made him transpired to act in such a way – societal conventions or his own attitude ? What decision Anjali would take regarding her marriage since her self-respect and individuality was at risk ? Will her fight back to defend herself usher a change in herself if any and how her husband react to her decision ? Is he going to cooperate and fix his flaws after seeing her fightback and decision ? Stay tuned to Halla Bol this Sunday @ 6:00 PM.
