Gumrah, the weekly show returns on Channel V India with Season 5. Actor & Star, Karan Patel is the host for this season, and replaces Karanvir Bohra who was the host of Season 4. For this season, the show presents shocking love stories which has an uneventul end, and gives the message on where the person has astrayed [Gumrah] in his/her journey, and where things went wrong. Karan raises some questions to highlight the aspects related to the theme of this season – What happens when one moves on with a nameless relationship, and executes something which has repurcursions ?; Why do people get lost after getting influenced under dangerous Ishq ? Why love & murder both have the same colour – red ? He speaks of coming up with some complicated questions which will be intriguing for viewers. Gumrah 5 is associated with the tag – Bloody Ishq Case Files.
Gumrah 4 had the core message – No One is Born a Criminal. Some of other shows that follow similar genre with Gumrah: Star Plus’s Ishq Kills, Bindass TV’s Pyaar Ka the End & Emotional Atyachaar 5, and MTV India’s Webbed.
