Vasundara’s dislike for Thapki gets higher after few women at the temple taunt her for choosing a bahu who stammers. Vasundara supports Thapki there to keep her respect and family name. She does not wish to make Thapki her bahu. She gets info about a prostitution racket at the hotel and sends Thapki there to get her defamed, inorder to stop her marriage with Dhruv. She feels sorry to hurt Thapki, and wants to get rid of her. She says she loves Dhruv the most in her life. Vasundara keeps the tv ready to show the racket burst breaking news to entire family. She calls everyone to see the breaking news and wishes they see Thapki’s face once in it, then the marriage will break on its own. Thapki turns her face when the media captures the footage and just her clothes are seen. Vasundara counts down for her face to be seen, and nothing such happens.
Bihaan happens to become Thapki’s savior. He gets to know about Thapki landing in that cheap hotel and saves her in nick of the time. He takes Thapki from there and gets to know Vasundara’s lie about Dhruv’s Mama to stay in that hotel. Bihaan finds out about Vasundara buying the spirit bottle from the chemist shop and gets to know Vasundara’s intentions to stop Dhruv and Thapki’s marriage. He asks Vasundara about her doings and she asks him to give a promise to her to stop Dhruv and Thapki’s marriage, saying she did not know about Thapki’s biggest humiliating weakness.
