Kanak gets disheartened on learning Bhabho’s ultimate hatred for her. Kanak learns that Bhabho has burnt her hands, to avoid doing her Kanyadaan in the marriage function. Kanak was very happy thinking Bhabho will accept her as daughter in front of everyone and do her Kanyadaan. Kanak found it a moment full of happiness and was anxiously waiting for her. Kanak fails to get the visa, when her photos get spoiled by Uma accidentally. Mayank’s mother postpones the marriage and calls it fate. She asks Kanak not to worry for marriage, and stay with her family for six months. Kanak finds this a good opportunity to win Bhabho’s heart.
Kanak tries finding out the reason why Bhabho hates her so much. She demands an answer from Bhabho. She makes Bhabho swear on Sooraj and Sandhya, and asks her to just reveal the reason. Bhabho reveals the reason to Kanak and everyone, that Kanak is the one who has snatched her Sooraj and Sandhya. She tells Kanak that Sooraj and Sandhya gave their lives and made such a big sacrifice for saving Kanak’s life. She tells Kanak that she hates her a lot and does not wish to tolerate the sight of her. Kanak shatters knowing the truth and understands Bhabho’s pain. She leaves from home without telling anyone. Everyone look for Kanak at home. Kanak goes to commit suicide to end Bhabho’s suffering. She then hears Uma talking to someone and asking about valuing life and facing problems. Kanak gets inspired hearing him and stops her suicide attempt. She heads on determined to win Bhabho’s heart.
