Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Huge letdown; Naira to forget Kartik… Naira proposes Kartik for marriage. She feels bad that she has hurt everyone so much by her illness. She tells them that her illness and cure aren’t in her hands, but she can share her wish with them. She tells them that she wants to marry Kartik before her surgery. She wants to give them happiness, knowing they all want this too. Kartik tells Naira that he isn’t mad to reject her love, he will surely marry her. She tells him that whatever is written in her fate will be shared by them. He tells her that he will elope with her and marry. Manish and Naitik warn him against denying to Naira’s wish. They ask Kartik to just marry Naira as soon as possible. Naira wants to live as Kartik’s wife.
Kartik decides to take doctor’s permission. He apologizes to the doctor for his misbehavior. He asks the doctor to permit him for marrying Naira in the hospital. Doctor refuses to him.

Kartik tells him that this is Naira’s wish and he has to keep it. He asks the doctor to think for Naira. Doctor tells him that Naira’s surgery is more important. He shares his information about the surgery and its side effects. He asks Kartik not to let the matter out of hands. He doesn’t want Naira to face more complications. Kartik tells doctor that Naira will get strong will power after the marriage. Kartik folds hands and begs doctor to allow him. Doctor tells Kartik that its tough to be a doctor. He asks Kartik to convince Naira for surgery and follow the hospital rules. He doesn’t permit Kartik even when Kartik gets requesting him. Kartik asks him not to break Naira’s hope. Dadi and Bhabhimaa try to talk to Guru ji to know about marriage mahurat.
Naksh tells them that he will do all the arrangements as Naira wants. Kartik tells them that he has spoken to the doctor and convinced him to permit the marriage in the hospital. Kartik informs Naira that doctor has given permission to marry in the hospital. Naira tells him that she doesn’t want a grand wedding, a simple wedding is enough for her. He tells her that they will soon be husband and wife. The families feel Naira has taken the right decision. They realize that Kartik and Naira have dedicated their lives to each other now.

Naira gets upset realizing she has forgotten Kartik for some brief period of time. She gets worried over her memory losing out. She wants to rush for the surgery soon. She can’t believe that she is forgetting Kartik, her love and life. The family leaves for home and asks Kartik to be strong to support Naira. Kartik doesn’t want Naira to break down. Kartik goes to give strength to Naira. The families want Naira’s surgery to get successful. Kartik hides his tensions from Naira. Naira doesn’t want to forget Kartik and their lovely memories. She gets raging on herself. She makes Kartik away from her. She tells him that she has forgotten him suddenly. He asks her to calm down, else her condition will get worse. She doesn’t want to get the surgery done. He tells her that its necessary and they can overcome this soon. Naira fights for her love. Kartik fights for her life.
