Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Naira’s big surprise for Kartik… Kartik restores the electricity, while the family prays for Kartik and Naira. Naira gets sinking. The doctors then gets the power restored and quickly resume the surgery to complete it. Kartik wishes that Naira battles with the illness with much bravery. He knows she is very strong, the girl who couldn’t take an injection is now undergoing a big surgery. He wants Naira to fight for his love’s sake. Doctor gets relieved that the machines are working fine. Everyone gets happy that Kartik has done a big thing for all the patients of the hospital. They want to know if the surgery is going on fine. They get informed that the surgery is getting completed now. Everyone tells Kartik that he has saved Naira. Kartik tells them that they all are equally brave, as they all fought along with Naira for the surgery completion.

The surgery finally completes. The doctor breaks the good news to them and asks Kartik for sweets. Kartik asks if the surgery went fine. Doctor tells them that the surgery was successful. Everyone waits for the time when Naira regains consciousness. Doctor tells them that they have kept hope and courage, and managed the situation so well. He praises Kartik and families. He thanks them for helping the hospital. He feels their concern for other patients have got prayers for Naira. Kartik asks doctor if Naira won’t forget the past. Doctor asks them to have hope, he can’t tell anything about the memory loss, they have to keep patience and see how Naira reacts. The family stays in stress.
Kartik imagines Naira calling him a stranger and not recognizing him. He gets worried with the thought that he will be out of Naira’s memories. He asks the doctor to help him, he can’t live without Naira. He gets troubled by overthinking about Naira. He wants to know if Naira remembers him or not. Doctor calms down him and tells him that Naira will remember him. He also wishes that Naira doesn’t forget anything. Kartik gets unwell with the over stress. Doctor treats him too. The families worry for them. Kartik wishes Naira doesn’t forget him. He sheds tears. He wants to wait for the morning, when Naira gets up.

Doctor informs the family that Naira is absolutely fine and she may gain consciousness any time now. He asks them to better be prepared for any situation of Naira’s memory. The families head to meet Naira and know her memory status. Kartik wakes up in the morning and gets worried for Naira. He rushes to Naira to talk to her. Naira meets her family and thankfully remembers them. They get a big relief that she is fine. Doctor doesn’t want anyone to put pressure on her for recollecting the past.
Goenkas try to stop Kartik, but he barges inside the ICU to meet her. Doctor tells them that they can’t know which phase Naira has forgotten from her life. Kartik gets a big surprise when Naira remembers him and entire love story. Doctor gets glad that his prayer is also answered. Kartik and Naira get happily stress free and unite. The families get happy for them. Kartik awaits Naira at home.
