Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kartik’s shocking declaration… Maheshwaris refuse to stay back in Goenka house. Kartik asks them the reason for leaving. Vishwamber tells him that it will be good if they go after spending the day with them. Varsha tells Kartik that there will be many problems for Goenkas if they stay back. She expresses the same complaints which Dadi stated. Dadi doubts that Naira has revealed her annoyance to Maheshwaris. She gets upset on Naira. Varsha tells Dadi that she has heard her conversation with Naira. Dadi feels bad that Maheshwaris want to leave. Dadi asks them to stay back for the sake of KaiRa’s happiness. Kartik and Naira’s lives get a twist during Diwali celebrations. There is a drama about Naira’s pregnancy news confusion.

The relatives take Naira’s gesture of invitations in a wrong way. They assume that Naira is pregnant, and that is the reason Goenkas have thrown a grand party for them. Kartik gets to hear the ladies gossiping. He takes Naira away, so that she doesn’t get upset hearing the people’s expectations. Everyone gets this misunderstanding, and start congratulating Kartik and Naira. This becomes an odd moment for Kartik and Naira. Kartik puts a stop to their wishes. He calls it enough.
