Kasautii Zindagii Kay Shocker. Nivedita stays in her ego self and ruins Anurag’s life by intentionally pulling him away from his true love Prerna. Nivedita tells Anupam that he knows that Anurag loves Prerna and even then she doesn’t want him to marry Prerna. Anupam gets upset with her. Mohini gets emotional seeing Anurag. She cries in happiness and tells him that she is much happy for him. She wants him to start a new life with Mishka. She feels proud to have a doting son like him. He finds her the world’s best mother. Moloy tells him that Mohini talks sweetly, but traps them in her motives, she always does what she wants. He guides Anurag and asks him to just act according to his heart. He asks him not to behave like Mohini wants. He tells Anurag that Mohini always convinces them for what they don’t want to do. Anurag gets swept away seeing Mohini’s happiness. He tells Moloy that he is happy with Mishka.

Moloy confronts him about his feelings for Prerna. Anurag denies his feelings. Even Anupam tries to make Anurag realize his feelings of love for Prerna. Anurag feels helpless as he has agreed for the engagement. He wishes to meet Prerna once and talk to her. Prerna feels sad that Anurag is getting engaged to Mishka. She decides to attend his engagement and be happy for him like a good friend.

Anurag reminisces Prerna all the while when he is surrounded by his family. Mohini blesses Anurag and asks him to conduct some rituals before the engagement. Anurag feels he was destined to meet Prerna and befriend her. Meanwhile, Mishka and her family meet Basus for the engagement. Chobey is proud of Komolika. Mishka doesn’t want her family to spoil her day. She wants her dad to appreciate her for choosing Anurag. Komolika makes an entry and stuns one and all in the party.

Anurag gets a shocker knowing Komolika is Mishka’s sister. Komolika is glad to meet Mohini. She tells them that she is happy to become their relative. Komolika stuns Anurag with her words. Chobey tells Moloy and Mohini that he is happy that Mishka has chosen Anurag. He likes Anurag and is proud of him too. Anurag waits for Prerna in the party. All his focus gets a drift when Prerna arrives. He tries to meet Prerna and talk to her once before his engagement. Komolika gets flirting with Anurag and claims her rights on him. She tells him that they will be related soon. Anurag gets concerned for Prerna and shares a moment with her. Basus witness Anurag’s love for Prerna when he leaves his engagement for her.
