Kasautii Zindagii Prerna unexpected witness. Komolika and Nivedita don’t believe Prerna when she states that she is Anurag’s first wife. Prerna tells them that Anurag has married her. When they ask her to prove her marriage by calling a witness, Prerna gets confident that she has a witness. Shivani and Veena learn that Prerna isn’t at home. They wonder where did Prerna go. Anurag keeps numb while the drama goes on. Mohini asks Prerna to give details and evidences for the marriage, bring the witnesses to testify. Prerna brings the unlikely witness to shock them, stating that the Goddess Durga is the witness of the marriage. She tells them that no people can be bigger than the Goddess.

She reminds Anurag that they have taken the vows in front of the Goddess and this means a lot to her, since he has filled sindoor in her hairline by binding it in a vow. Mohini doesn’t believe her. She asks Prerna to bring a human witness who can testify the marriage. She asks Anurag if he has really married Prerna. Anurag keeps silence. Prerna calls the pandit inside the Basu house and asks him to tell everyone that Anurag has married her. She asks Anurag to remember the pandit, who had blessed them after the marriage.

Anurag accepts the truth that he has married Prerna. Prerna is glad that he finally told the truth. Prerna asks Mohini if she wants to know anything further. She tells Anurag that she has gone to the temple, knowing he is marrying Komolika, when the pandit came as help to her. Pandit tells them that Anurag and Prerna are married. Mohini demands to know if this is true. Anurag confirms the truth once again. He can’t deny the marriage with Prerna. Prerna tells Komolika that she will not leave her rights on Anurag.

She also reveals that Anurag and she love each other. Mohini wants Prerna out of the house. Mishka is happy that Prerna defeated Komolika. Prerna’s shocking announcement upsets Mohini. She gets the rights of Anurag’s first wife. Anurag learns about the threat on Prerna by Komolika.
