She shares her sorrow with her friend. Her friend asks her to think about her future. She asks Lovely to manage her own life, since even Tony is in jail now. She tells that Sikandar should take the family home.
Lovely feels helpless. She wants to talk to him. Kulfi sadly returns to the chawl. Sikandar hugs her. She manages to surprise him by getting the mouth organ. He can’t believe it that she has found his childhood memory. She tells him that everything is possible because of their hope and belief. The old man apologizes to Sikandar. Sikandar forgives him. The boy cries on losing his favorite mouth organ. Sikandar shows his big heart and gives away the instrument to the boy as a gift. The boy thanks Sikandar happily. Sikandar thanks Kulfi for bringing a wave of happiness and peace in his life. She tells him that he will be surviving and living long with them. He gets a disheartening news front Dr. Mitakshara. She informs him that the blood clot can’t be removed from the brain, there is no cure for him. He tells her that when the doctors team have told it that he is going to die, then its certain. He doesn’t want to keep any hope. He gets upset. Kulfi overhears his conversation.
She cries her sorrow out. He asks her not to lose courage. He doesn’t have any hope. He knows that he is tensed as well, but the fate can’t change. He asks her to accept the truth that his illness can’t be cured. She asks him to not deny it. They share the moment of sorrow, while recalling their happy memories. Sikandar cherishes his memories. He feels sorry for Amyra and Kulfi, who would be raised without their father. Lovely wants him to confide the truth. She asks him to stop lying and share his sorrow.
Sikandar apologizes to her. He didn’t wish to hurt her with the truth. She is shattered that her dream of a new start broke up. She asks him not to go away. She wants to get help for him. He tells her that he tried enough, but he is failing to save himself. She wants him to take them home. She tells that Jimmy told her everything. He doesn’t want to go home until he earns everything right way. She supports him. They have an emotional moment. Kulfi struggles to save him by some way. She begs the doctor to put more efforts. Mitakshara apologizes to her that she is helpless to let Sikandar die. She learns that Sikandar would be dying soon.
