Kundali Bhagya 31st August 2021 Written Update Defensive Karan Sherlyn tells the family that she had already told Kareena the truth, that Preeta isn’t pregnant, but Kareena scolded her. She adds that she had called Sarla home for Preeta’s sake, Preeta was stressed, Sarla could have shared Preeta’s sorrow. She tells that she wanted Preeta to get emotionally stable after meeting her mother. She tells them that her doubt is now confirmed, that Preeta isn’t pregnant. Rakhi yells at Sherlyn and slaps her. She can’t accept the harsh truth. Bani asks Kareena why didn’t she slap Sherlyn before.
She lectures Sherlyn for saying such bad things. Prithvi and Kritika also witness the drama. Bani tells that Sherlyn has lost her mind after losing her baby. She asks Sherlyn to go to Sanjana’s house for some days, else she will get slapped by blaming others. Bani decides to send Sherlyn away to maintain the house peace. She insults Sherlyn for having such a cheap thinking and inferiority complex. She calls it Sherlyn’s jealousy. Sherlyn tells that she knew the family will react in this manner, so she had gathered the proof against Preeta.
Karan tells Preeta that Sherlyn won’t tell anyone. Preeta tells that Sherlyn has just warned her. He adds that he will explain Sherlyn. Kritika calls Karan and Preeta downstairs. Sherlyn wants Preeta’s fate to change. She thinks she will make the family hate Preeta, Preeta will be ousted for once and all. Karan and Preeta meet the family. Kareena confronts Preeta for playing with her emotions. Bani also asks her the reason. Sherlyn asks Preeta why did she play with the family’s feelings when she wasn’t pregnant. Karan asks Sherlyn to shut up.

Kareena tells that its a big lie, they can’t believe it. Bani rebukes Preeta for the cheat. Karan tells them that Preeta wanted to tell them. He defends his wife. Preeta tells the family that she wanted to tell them the truth. Kareena tells that they didn’t believe Sherlyn and also slapped her. Kareena adds that she was happy that Preeta is going to bring Karan’s baby into the world, she got emotional and supported Preeta, but the latter cheated her. Bani asks Karan how could he cheat his own family.
She asks why did he lie. Karan asks them to let him explain once. Prithvi feels sorry seeing Preeta getting scolded. He knows that Sherlyn is really jealous, she will make sure that Luthras throw out Preeta from the house. Mahesh arrives there to know the matter. Sherlyn tells him about Preeta’s lie, that she isn’t pregnant. She further states that Preeta can never conceive. Karan asks Sherlyn to stop the nonsense. Mahesh receives a big shock. Shrishti arrives at the same time. She witnesses the family drama.
Karan lectures Sherlyn. He tells the family that they have narrow mentality, he was going to tell them but the time wasn’t going good. He warns Sherlyn against insulting Preeta. He tells them that they just pretended to love Preeta for the sake of baby, they don’t really love her. Kareena asks him why did he lie to him. She feels they both should have told the truth to the family.

Karan asks Sherlyn how can she accuse Preeta, when she knows the pain of losing a baby. He tells the family that Preeta and he decided to have a baby for Mahesh and Rakhi’s happiness, the good news returned the happiness in the family, Preeta could have not told the truth to shock them again.
He reveals that they met a doctor, who told about the possibility that they can become parents. He asks them to understand that they didn’t intend to hide the matter. Preeta apologizes to the family. She tells that she didn’t know the truth either, she got to know about it on the Lonavla trip day, she met the doctor and got to know that she isn’t pregnant, she couldn’t gather courage to give them sorrow, they later found a solution for their problem. Kareena reminds Bani what she told Sherlyn.
She tells that Sherlyn won’t leave, Preeta will leave and go to her mother’s love for some days. She wants a break from Preeta. Bani stops Karan from defending his wife. Kareena asks Rakhi to break her silence and ask Preeta to leave. Shrishti cries for her sister. Rakhi supports Preeta. She tells that few people can never understand Preeta. She stands by Preeta like always. Preeta hugs Rakhi. Karan is relieved that at least Rakhi didn’t lose her mind like Bani and Kareena. Rakhi tells them that Preeta and Karan are the most hurt among everyone. She asks them to think of Preeta, who had silently undergone the sorrow for their sake.

Furthermore, Rakhi tells that Preeta had dealt with a big storm all alone just to keep their happiness intact. She justifies Preeta, understanding her emotional conflict. She wants the family to have Preeta’s perception and judge the matter. She gets hopeful that things will get fine. Mahesh agrees with Rakhi, while Shrishti feels relieved seeing Preeta’s place secured by Rakhi’s support.
