Gud Se Mitha Ishq Star Bharat starts 18th April 2022 Star Bharat is soon going to launch a sweet and innocent romantic drama titled Gud Se Mitha Ishq starring beloved television actors Pankhuri Awasthy Rode (Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan) and Ishaan Dhawan (Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana). Pankhuri will be seen playing a character named Kaju who is a lovely tourist guide of Uttarakhand and the one who considers tourists as her god. She is simple yet firm on her decisions and remains stubborn when she is asked to marry a man after spending a night with an unknown guy. She is helpful, smart, and attentive too. Ishaan will play the role of Neel who is a hodophile – one who loves to travel. He goes to explore the beauty of Uttarakhand and captures as many memories as possible in his camera but ends up marrying Kaju.

Actress Meera Deosthale (Udaan) will play Pari a mentally disabled teenager and Ishaan’s cousin sister. She is very adorable and straightforward. She always does things what her heart says without anybody’s fear. Pari likes Kaju and she is speculated to be a bridge between Neel and Kaju’s love story. Apart from the romantic connection between the lead characters the viewers will also get to see the magnificent aura and beauty of Uttarakhand. Gud Se Mitha Ishq is a remake of the well-liked Bengali serial named Jol Nupur.

Star Bharat took to its official Instagram handle and posted the promo of the much-awaited show along with the caption: “लेकर आ रहे हैं एक नई प्रेम कहानी, नए शो के साथ।#गुड़सेमीठाइश्क़ #Gudsemithaishq जल्द ही सिर्फ़ STAR भारत पर।”. The whole star cast of the show was tagged in this post. Actress Pankhuri Awasthy Rode also posted the promo of the show on her Instagram profile and captioned it as: “Tumne ishq ka naam suna hai .. dekha ishq kabhi naa ..dekhne ke liye .. stay tuned #GudSeMeethaIshq coming on 18th April at 7:30 pm on @starbharat ♥️#NewPromo”.

According to the speculations actors Vaisshalee Thackar (Uttaran), Piloo Vidyarthi (Suhaani Si Ek Ladki), Vishal Chaudary (Kashibai Bajirao Ballal), Ananya Khare (Mere Angne Mein), Akshita Arora (Barrister Babu), and Jaya Ojha (Saath Nibhaana Saathiya) will also be a part of this serial. The serial is produced by Pintoo and Rupali Guha. Gud Se Mitha Ishq will portray the themes of love, bonding, culture, traditions, family, and moreover stereotypes, forcible wedlock, and social stigma. It will start streaming on 18th April 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.
