Anupama 22nd April 2022 Written Update Lucky Anupama Pakhi, Paritosh, Kinjal and Samar enjoy their drinks and snacks together in a room. Samar and Kinjal say the feeling comes when the whole family gets together. Pakhi says Anuj acts a little like Sharukh while dancing. Samar asks Pakhi, which person in India doesn’t copy Sharukh’s style. He says their Anuj anyways is just like Sharukh. Kinjal says Anuj is the best, and out of the world. Vanraj overhears this and feels disappointed. Kinjal notices Vanraj outside the room and calls him. Vanraj enters the room and says that he came to take the charger.
Pakhi gives the charger to Vanraj. Vanraj asks his children if they had fun. Pakhi tells Vanraj that they enjoyed a lot today. Vanraj tells Paritosh that it’s good he went too. Kinjal asks Vanraj if he wants to say something. Vanraj says no and leaves asking everyone to rest. Samar says it’s very difficult to understand Vanraj. He says he knows that Vanraj isn’t happy with Anupama and Anuj’s marriage but doesn’t understand why he is behaving like he is very sad and upset. Kinjal says Vanraj is really sad and upset. She explains to everyone that when the things start to become real, it starts affecting a person.
Kinjal further explains that youngsters like them get jealous seeing our ex with someone else. She says Vanraj’s relationship with Anupama was of 26 years and he might be feeling a little troubled with his ex’s second marriage. Samar tells Kinjal a 26 years long relationship isn’t the problem. He says the problem is that Vanraj can’t see Anupama happy. Samar also says that Vanraj himself never kept Anupama happy and now he can’t see anyone else keeping Anupama happy. Kinjal tells Samar that the thing about Vanraj is not so simple. She explains to everyone that they are the reason behind Vanraj’s problem, more than Anupama.
Paritosh asks why. Kinjal says Vanraj loves his children a lot and he would have felt jealous and hurt hearing us ranting Anuj’s name and praises. She says she thinks that Vanraj fears that Anuj will snatch them from him one day. Pakhi asks Kinjal if they are some sort of namkeen packet, like someone will snatch them. Paritosh asks Pakhi to not talk like this as Kinjal is talking about something serious. Kinjal says that handling Vanraj is their responsibility, not Anupama or Anuj’s. She says they will have to understand Vanraj and handle him too.
Kinjal tells Pakhi and Paritosh that they are Vanraj’s life and they can understand his feelings. Samar says he agrees to this. Kinjal says people find reasons to be angry in marriages in India. She explains that especially in Anupama’s marriage, people are keeping a watch to find some reason to create a big issue. Kinjal tells Paritosh, Pakhi and Samar that they have to make sure that no problem arises and Anuj and Anupama get married to each other peacefully and happily. Everyone agrees with Kinjal.
Later, Bapuji makes shampoo water for Anupama and asks her to put her hand in the tub. Anupama asks Bapuji what it is. Bapuji explains to Anupama that it’s a manicure, which women are used to getting done from the parlor. He explains to Anupama that it will clean her hands. Anupama talks in a funny tone and tells Bapuji that a housewife’s hands get cleaned and soft in the early morning, when she washes utensils and then gets treatment with whole day use of flour and spices. Bapuji laughs with Anupama. Anupama asks Bapuji if he knows how to do a manicure.
Bapuji tells Anupama that he saw it in a video on the internet and got it downloaded from Kinjal. Anupama gets overwhelmed seeing Bapuji making efforts for her. Bapuji tells Anupama that a father has to come forward for his daughter’s happiness when a mother forgets her duties and responsibilities. He shows the nail paint he brought for Anupama from Kinjal. Bapuji asks Anupama which color she likes. Anupama feels emotional. Bapuji starts giving manicures to Anupama. Bapuji starts feeling unwell. Anupama gets tense and asks him if he is fine. She rubs Bapuji’s back asking him what happened.
Bapuji tells Anupama that he got acidic by eating dhokla, samosa and pani puri at Anuj’s house. Anupama gets shocked and a little angry. She asks how Anuj let him eat all this. Bapuji tells Anupama that he ate everything secretly. Anupama scolds Bapuji for eating chaat, risking his health. She asks Bapuji how he will dance in her marriage if he gets ill. She reminds Bapuji that he only has to perform all the rituals of her marriage. Bapuji asks Anupama why she is scolding him as he will get better after drinking cold milk. Anupama again scolds Bapuji. Bapuji promises Anupama that now he won’t eat anything risky for his health. Anupama tells Bapuji that she got scared right now. Bapuji asks Anupama to not worry, he won’t let any problem arise in her marriage.
He tells Anupama that her and Anuj’s wedding is his dream too. Anupama asks Bapuji to take care of himself. Bapuji receives something on his mobile, which makes him tense. He hides his tension from Anupama. Anupama takes out all her rings from her hand. She gets upset seeing a mark on her ring finger. Baa also notices the same. She tells Anupama that the new engagement ring won’t be able to remove her past marks. Baa says the 26 years long relationship left a mark on the ring finger. Anupama tells Baa that every wound leaves a mark. She also tells Baa that pain has gone, and Mark will too go away soon.
Baa asks Anupama if she is calling her son’s given relationship a pain. Anupama asks Baa if she is calling the pain given by her son a relationship. She tells Baa that Vanraj went away from her life, whether the mark on ring finger goes or not, doesn’t matter to her. Baa tells Anupama that she doesn’t get affected even by making Bapuji serving her. She also tells Anupama that she may make Bapuji wash her feet too, if she wishes to. Bapuji tells Baa that daughters feet are washed before veneration. He asks Baa to worry about her sins. Baa asks Bapuji what sins or murders she did, thag he is talking about.
Bapuji tells Baa that she killed Anupama’s dreams and happiness. Baa tells Bapuji that Anupama is killing his respect by making him serve her. She says she can’t see him serving Anupama. Bapuji asks Baa to not see and leave. Baa leaves angrily. Anupama asks Bapuji why he is doing her manicure now as it could have been done the next morning. Bapuji tells Anupama that it’s important to perform her manicure now. Anupama asks him why and also asks why Anuj called her late at night. Bapuji shuts Anupama. At night, Anupama asks Kinjal to tell her where Anuj is taking her so late at night. Kinjal tells Anupama that she doesn’t know anything.
They walk outside the house and meet Anuj. Kinjal cutely warns Anuj that Anupama should return till 1 AM. Anuj assures Kinjal and takes Anupama with him. Kinjal feels good for Anupama as Anuj is going to fulfill Anupama’s wish, which never got fulfilled, but she deserved it all along. Anuj blindfolds Anupama on reaching their destination. He takes Anupama inside a Jewelry store and opens her blindfold. Shop staff showers flower petals on Anupama and she gets surprised. Anupama gets nervous, but Anuj tries to make her comfortable. Anupama spills out water in nervousness and Anup wipes her mouth using a tissue.
Anuj tells Anupama that he wanted their engagement ring to be of her choice. He compares Anupama with Kohinoor and calls her his queen. Staff checks Anupama’s ring finger size. After this, he shows her various designs. Anupama recalls telling her mother that she doesn’t like the design of her engagement ring and its paining being tight. Her mother asked her to bear the pain and told her that a girl’s choice doesn’t matter as they have to accept her in-laws’ choices. Tears flow down from Anupama’s eyes and she runs away.
At Shah house, Pakhi, Paritosh, Kinjal and Samar praise the engagement ring design chosen for Anuj. Bapuji rejects the design. Pakhi and Samar explain to Bapuji that these days, people prefer simple and elegant designs. Kinjal also tries to explain to Bapuji as he wishes a heavy design for Anuj (his son-in-law). Samar keeps Anuj’s engagement ring and requests God to keep this ring safe. He also prays to God to bless Anuj’s ring, so that Anuj and Anupama get a tsunami of happiness and blessings in their life. Vanraj overhears everything and feels very angry. On the other hand, Anuj runs outside the store behind Anupama. Anupama tells Anuj that every woman likes and wishes for beautiful jewelry but middle class women fail to fulfill their wish of diamond jewelry. She also tells Anuj about how she sold her mother’s gifted jewelry to buy a diamond ring for Kinjal on Rakhi’s insistence.
Anupama further tells Anuj that she felt scared at that time, thinking that Kinjal’s ring would get dirty in her hands. She tells Anuj that today he put a whole sky in her hands. Anupama also tells Anuj that he kept a diamond ring in the hands of thepla making woman. She further tells Anuj that he fulfilled her dream, which she never even dared to see. Anuj watches Anupama with love in his eyes.
In the next episode, Anupama will choose a simple, single diamond and less expensive ring for her. Anuj will ask her why she chose a less expensive ring. Anupama will tell Anuj that it’s enough for her as it’s a shining and beautiful diamond ring. Anupama will excitedly show her engagement ring to everyone. Kavya will say that Anupama is lucky as she got a diamond. Kinjal will say that Anupama is lucky because she got a real diamond in the form of Anuj Kapadia. Baa and Vanraj will feel offended.
