Anupama 2nd May 2022 Written Update Anuj best move While playing family name word search, Vanraj finds Anupama’s name from a distance. He tells Anuj that it’s strange and weird that he (Vanraj) found Anupama’s name on the board instead of him (Anuj). Anupama feels angry. Bapuji asks Vanraj what’s the use of finding Anupama’s name now, when he couldn’t see Anupama for 25 years. He asks Anuj and Anupama to concentrate on their game. Anuj circles Anupama’s name on the board. Family starts the countdown. Anupama and Anuj find “MaAn” at the right time and circle it.
Everyone claps for Anuj and Anupama in happiness. Baa and Kavya feel angry, while Vanraj seems to be plotting something against Anuj and Anupama. Bapuji asks everyone to see that Anuj and Anupama found the family members’ names first and then theirs. He says Anuj and Anupama kept their family first, even in the game. Bapuji asks Anupama and Anuj to remember to not forget their own names among the others. Vanraj feels irritated. Bapuji explains to Anupama and Anuj that they have to hold both family and love as if they leave any finger, then the relationship remains incomplete.
Everyone walks towards the hall to begin the engagement ceremony. Everyone gets shocked, finding the engagement rings missing. Malvika asks where the engagement rings are. Everyone in tension starts searching for the engagement rings. Anuj and Anupama feel suspicious looking at Vanraj. Soon everyone starts suspecting Vanraj. Vanraj, Baa, Kavya and Rakhi notices everyone’s suspicion on Vanraj. Vanraj asks everyone why they are staring at him. He also asks everyone if they are thinking that he stole the engagement rings. Vanraj tells everyone that they watch TV serials, a lot. He says he could be a hero, a villain but not so predictable.
Anuj asks Vanraj to not start or create drama today. Malvika asks Vanraj where the engagement rings are. Vanraj says he didn’t do anything as he is not a child to do such things. Anuj and Anupama ask Vanraj to tell the truth. Dolly says where the rings went then. At the same time, Meenu says she has the engagement rings. Meenu gives the rings to Dolly. Vanraj asks everyone if they believe him now. Dolly asks Meenu, where did she get these rings from. Meenu tells Dolly that she went to wash the rings as by her mistake, the ketchup fell on them and she didn’t want to get scolded by her. Meenu holds her ears and apologizes to Anupama and everyone.
Bapuji tells Meenu that it’s fine. Malvika thanks Meenu for cleaning the rings. Baa tells everyone that they were suspecting Vanraj unnecessarily. Vanraj smirks and tells Baa that it’s fine as it’s normal for everyone to be scared of his presence as he is Anupama’s ex, Vanraj Shah. Anupama feels a little worried hearing Vanraj’s words. Anuj notices Anupama’s tension and looks angrily towards Vanraj, understanding the mind games Vanraj is playing with Anupama. Bapuji asks everyone to begin the engagement ceremony. Malvika playfully gives the engagement rings to Anuj and Anupama.

Vanraj says, who thought that one day the hands, which always smelled of spices, will get the opportunity to wear a diamond ring. Baa, Vanraj and Rakhi smile evilly. Anupama feels bad, while Anuj, Kanta, Malvika, Devika, GK, Bapuji, Samar, Sanjay feel angry. Paritosh, Pakhi, Kinjal and Kavya get expressionless. Vanraj asks Anupama if today, she washed her hands properly or if they still smell spices. Anuj tells Vanraj that spices have an aroma. He also tells Vanraj that he isn’t unfortunate to not value the aroma. Anuj further tells Vanraj that this is the best aroma in the world as it comes from “his Anu’s” hands.
He teasingly tells Vanraj that he wouldn’t know anything about it. Anupama tries to smile. Bapuji says it’s good that evil eye/bad sight got warded off from Anuj and Anupama’s happiness. Malvika requests Anuj to say a couplet before beginning with the engagement ceremony. Everyone encourages Anuj to say a couplet for Anupama. Anuj gives signs of understanding to Kinjal. Kinjal recalls noticing Anupama feeling a little conscious about her looks. She also recalls texting Anuj about it. In her text, she also told Anuj that every girl goes through the same feelings that Anupama is going through now. She says on every occasion, a bride/girl feels that something is missing and they aren’t enough.
At last in her text to Anuj, Kinjal told him that she doesn’t want Anupama to feel conscious about herself, today. Anuj speaks a couplet, explaining to Anupama that one can’t bind age and its marks. He also explains to Anupama that he finds her beautiful, however she looks. Anuj further explains to Anupama to ignore nonsense people’s questions as she is unmatchable and his dream. Anupama and her supporters get emotional and impressed hearing such beautiful lines from Anuj. Vanraj and Baa feel angry and irritated. Kavya also feels impressed with Anuj’s words and thinking. Anuj tells Anupama that he isn’t saying that she is the most beautiful woman in this world. He tells Anupama that she is “his world” and his world is the most beautiful one.
Anupama sheds tears of happiness. She tells Anuj that she is the luckiest woman in the world as she belongs to him. Baa and Vanraj, as usual, feel angry. Anuj asks Anupama to promise him that while looking at herself in the mirror, she will tell herself that she doesn’t have any right to be Anuj’s favorite. He asks Anupama to always tell herself by looking at the mirror that there is someone, who lives only by looking at her. Anupama grows more emotional. Vanraj feels angry. Samar asks Anupama and Anuj to make each other wear the engagement rings. Anuj slides the engagement ring in Anupama’s ring finger. Vanraj angrily looks at this from a distance.
Everyone claps and cheers for Anupama and Anuj. Baa and Vanraj feel angry seeing Anuj and Anupama happy and themselves getting defeated. Next, Anupama makes Anuj wear the engagement ring. Everyone cheers and claps for the newly engaged couple. Baa and Vanraj feel angrier. Kavya claps for Anupama and Anuj. Rakhi seems to be smiling genuinely. Anuj and Anupama pose, showing their engagement rings to everyone for the photograph. Pakhi clicks their photograph. Anuj gets him and Anupama’s photograph clicked in a romantic pose. This anger as well as shocks Baa and Vanraj, while others feel happy and emotional. Baa leaves and sits angrily somewhere.

She says her heart is burning, seeing Anuj and Anupama’s happiness. Kanta offers ladoo to Baa, telling her that she can have sweets, even if her heart is bitter. Leela angrily asks Kanta if she is rubbing lemon on her wounds. Kanta tells Leela that lemons have gotten expensive and it’s time to rub salt on wounds. Baa asks Kanta if she learnt to taunt people from Anupama. Kanta tells Baa that at least she learnt something from Anupama, but she (Baa) didn’t. She says an old parrot can’t learn new words. Kanta asks Leela to at least try to learn something. Baa tells Kanta she thought her to be a sweet but she instead turned out to be quite feisty. Kanta tells Baa that this chili will make her scorch even after Anupama’s wedding gets completed.
Shocked, Baa tells Kanta that her attitude has totally changed. Kanta tells Baa that she should have changed her attitude long ago. She also says that she should have realized long ago that a girl’s/bride’s family has equal say in marriage. Kanta says she should have realized earlier that tolerating wrong things once, can leave a person helpless for life. She tells Baa that now she has no relationship or any obligations with her. Kanta warns and threatens Baa, that if she or anyone related to her tries to disrupt Anupama’s marriage, that person will bear her anger. This shocks Baa. She tells Baa that she realized that she had made a big mistake by getting Anupama married to Vanraj. Kanta asks Baa to make amends, like she is making now.
She tells Baa that it’s not too late to realize and correct her mistakes. Kanta tells Baa that her curse can turn down on her and can ruin her entire family. She asks Baa to heed her advice, mend her ways and give her blessings for Anupama’s wedding. Kanta tells Baa that Anuj and Anupama consider her as a mother figure and respects her even today. She also tells Baa that her one son, Vanraj is spoiled but she will get a good son in Anuj. She invites Baa to come and rejoice in Anuj and Anupama’s happiness. Baa turns down Kanta’s offer by pushing away the sweet bowl. Sweet from the bowl falls in tulsi maa’s plant, of whose veneration is performed daily. Kanta happily tells Baa that Goddess Tulsi accepted the sweets of Anuj and Anupama’s wedding.
This shocks Baa. Kanta tells Baa that she won’t be able to hinder Anupama’s joys, as much as she will try. She warns Baa to mend her ways and leaves, thanking Goddess Tulsi. Baa feels angry and shocked. Anuj takes Anupama aside to spend romantic moments with Anupama. “Ek Duje Ke Vaaste”, plays in the background. Anuj caresses Anupamay cheeks and kisses her forehead. Shy Anupama stands closing her eyes. After opening her eyes, Anupama hugs Anuj. Anuj also hugs Anupama and gets happier. Anuj tells Anupama that he can barely control his happiness now. He also tells Anupama that now he finally started feeling that he is breathing life as “his Anu” really belongs to him now.
In the next episode, Anupama will find her supporters in her room. Anupama will dance with everyone in the garden area. Her engagement ring will fall from her finger. Vanraj will catch Anupama’s engagement ring. He will taunt Anupama asking her how she will handle and save her marriage as she failed to handle/protect/hold her engagement ring. Anupama will angrily look at Vanraj. Later, Anupama will look tense/scared and hold her engagement ring tightly in her hands.
Next day, Anuj will arrive on a bike to take Anupama for a date. Anuj will get happy seeing Anupama decked up in a red suit with open hairs for going on a date with him. Kavya will ask Vanraj to learn something from Anuj. She will tell Vanraj that Anuj knows how to make a woman feel special and is not like him, who only makes his wife work in the name of romance.
