Anupama New beginning 20th May 2022 Written Update Anupama says respect is the foundation of a relationship, a finger through a relationship learns to walk and a sky where a relationship becomes moon. Anuj says love and happiness survives with respect. He says without respect, love and relationship is like a fake flower with no smell of real love. Anupama says love can’t happen without respect. She also says that a relationship without respect is possession, not love. Anuj and Anupama say that they don’t want to give each other any big promises but just want to promise respect to each other.
Anuj and Anupama hold each other’s hands and promise that they will respect each other, each other’s thinking, likes and dislikes. They also promise that they won’t forget to respect each other, even if they will indulge into a disagreement or quarrels. Anuj and Anupama further promise each other that they will respect each other’s rights. Bapuji says that he never saw or heard of such a wedding. He also says that nothing is lacking in this wedding. Anupama wards off the bad sight from her, Anuj and her family’s happiness. Meenu says Vanraj is absent in this wedding. This disappoints some and angers some others.
Samar says it’s fine. Meenu asks how it is okay as Bapuji says that real joy and happiness is felt by being with everyone. Vanraj comes there with a bouquet of flowers and congratulates Anupama and Anuj. Anuj and Anupama accept the bouquet as well as best wishes from Vanraj. He tells Anuj and Anupama that Kavya made him realize that he should attend their wedding for at least himself. Anuj says Meenu was right, when she said that celebrations get enjoyable with the whole family around. Anuj and Anupama welcome Vanraj. Some family pictures are taken after this.
Devika tells Vanraj that now she realized that he isn’t that bad or evil as she thought him to be. Vanraj smiles and asks Devika if she still doesn’t consider him a good person. Devika tells Vanraj that one good work can’t give him redemption but redemption starts. Devika cheers juice glasses with Vanraj and thanks him. She also asks him to be a nice person like this only, in future too as it feels good. Vanraj smiles and drinks the juice. Tense Pakhi, Paritosh and Samar run towards the mandap and fix it, when they find it messed up. They say that everything as well as wedding pictures should be perfect in Anupama’s wedding.
Anuj and Anupama walk towards their mandap in happiness. They get emotional seeing all this. As Anuj takes off his shoes, GK secures them with himself. Thus stunns Dolly and Devika. Anupama’s children tell GK that this ritual has gone very old. They explain to everyone that there is a different trend now, in weddings, instead of the groom’s shoes, his phone is stolen. Anuj gets tense and stunned on not finding his phone with himself. Everyone laughs hearing and seeing this. Anupama teases Anuj. Anuj says Anupama’s children are talented. Paritosh says these days everyone’s life is stuck in their phones. Anuj says his life is stuck in just “his Anupama”.

Bapuji tells GK that the bride’s relatives are very smart. Anun requests Anupama’s kids to return his phone now. Children tell Anuj that his phone will be alright till he gives them their nek (gift amount). Everyone finds this new trend amazing. Kinjal tells Anuj that he will find his phone in water glass, if he won’t give them Rs. 51,000 as their gift amount. Anuj tells the children that he will give them Rs. 81,000 and requests them to keep his phone safe and sound. This makes children happy and excited. Baa asks Anuj and Anupama what they are doing as she sees them greeting the Mandap and taking its blessings.
Anuj and Anupama explain to Baa that this mandap is their love temple and thus they took its blessings by greeting it just like they do in other temples. They sit on/in the mandap and start performing wedding rituals. Emotional Kanta wards off the bad sight from Anuj and Anupama. Priest calls the bride’s parents for Anupama’s Kanyadaan. Baa and Bapuji come forward and perform Anupama’s Kanyadaan. This makes everyone emotional. Everyone takes God’s blessings, when Kanyadaan ritual gets completed. Bapuji says he visited all the holy places by performing Anupama’s (daughter’s) Kanyadaan. Baa reveals that she never considered Anupama as her daughter nor gave her the respect that a daughter-in-law deserves. She says her and Anupama’s relationship became so deep only because of Anupama’s true and deep love.
Baa also says that she can’t stop her tears thinking about Anupama’s bidaai. She asks Anuj to keep Anupama happy. Kinjal gets stunned seeing Rakhi emotional and teary eyed. Anupama’s children performs, “Mummydaan” ritual. They give Anupama’s hand and responsibility to Anuj. All three of them warn Anuj to not dare make their mother sad, otherwise he knows the Shah family’s drama level. After this Samar, Pakhi and Paritosh tie Anuj and Anupama’s gathbandhan. Anuj and Anupama start taking wedding vows (pheras), holding each other’s hands. Everyone showers flower petals on Anupama and Anuj. “Din Shagna Da” song plays in the background.
Anuj and Anupama complete their wedding pheras. Priest makes them sit for the vermilion ritual. Baa wards off evil sight from Anuj and Anupama. Samar stumbles while picking up the vermilion plate. This scares everyone. Vanraj saves the vermilion box and says everything is fine and everything good will happen. Anupama thanks Vanraj. After this Anuj fills Anupama’s hairline with vermilion. Vermilion falls on Anupama’s nose too. Anupama’s title song plays in the background. Kanta once again wards off bad sight from Anuj and Anupama. Everyone claps for the newly wed couple. Anuj tells Anupama that she will get much love in her in-laws house as a good amount of vermilion fell on her nose.
Anupama tells Anuj that she already knows about it. Anuj cutely wipes vermilion from Anupama’s nose. After this, Anuj makes Anupama wear the nuptial chain (Mangalsutra) over her neck. Vanraj feels sad, while Anuj and Anupama feel emotional as well as happy. Priest declares Anuj and Anupama as each other’s husband and wife. Anuj-Anupama and their supporters get happy hearing this. Anuj and Anupama one by one take the elders blessings. Everyone wishes happiness to Anuj and Anupama. Baa and Bapuji feel emotional by bidding farewell to Anupama. In the next episode, Anupama will get a warm and emotional wedding farewell (bidaai). Vanraj will wish “Happy Married Life” to Anuj and Anupama. Anuj and Anupama will smile looking at Vanraj.
