Anupama 12th August 2022 Written Update Vanraj confession Shahs and Anupama check Vanraj’s condition from outside the ICU ward. Noticing Vanraj’s movements, Kavya asks if Vanraj is gaining consciousness. Samar says that it seems that something is disturbing Vanraj in his sleep or unconsciousness. Everyone gets worried for Vanraj. Vanraj is seen recalling his and Anuj’s last meeting. He recalls driving extremely fast and ignoring Anuj, who is asking him to stop the car. After driving a little distance, Vanraj stops the car. Both Anuj and Vanraj come out of the car.

They indulge in a heated argument with each other. Vanraj reminds Anuj that he earlier promised him that he won’t ever try to be a father to his children. Anuj tells Vanraj that he fulfilled his promise. He asks Vanraj to make it quick as he needs to return to his family. Vanraj tells Anuj that their argument is all family only. He accuses Anuj of stealing his whole family. Vanraj tells Anuj that at Raksha Bandhan he was all alone because his whole family went to his house for celebrations. Anuj tells Vanraj that he doesn’t know how to make, fulfill and handle relations. Vanraj tells Anuj that he has no right to talk between his family matters.

He asks Anuj to stay away from his family. Anuj tells Vanraj that any sensible person wishing for peace in his/her life will want to stay away from his wholly dramatic family. Vanraj asks Anuj why he is meeting his family when he wants to stay away. He tells Anuj that he can’t tolerate seeing his family meeting him at one or the other festival. Vanraj says this has to end. While talking, Anuj and Vanraj reach almost at the edge of the cliff. Flashback continues. Anuj tells Vanraj that he even wants to end all this. He tells Vanraj that sometimes people need to be connected. Vanraj says sometimes this connection needs to be burned.

He tells Anuj that whenever their families come together either Anu cries or Pakhi cries. Both Anuj and Vanraj say that they can’t see tears in their daughter’s eyes. Vanraj asks Anuj to make Anupama understand that their families should never meet each other from now onwards. Anuj tells Vanraj that he will explain to Anupama that Shahs and Kapadias shouldn’t meet each other except on occasions and sorrows. Vanraj explains to Anuj that he wants Shahs and Kapadias to never ever meet each other. Anuj jokingly asks Vanraj if he is shifting to the north pole with his family. Vanraj tells Anuj that his joke was stupid.

Anuj tells Vanraj that they can control their families from meeting each other but they can’t and even should not stop their families fully from meeting each other. Vanraj tells Anuj that his parents, kids, and family won’t ever step into his house. Anuj asks Vanraj why he takes everything to an extreme level. He explains to Vanraj that family matters or decisions are discussed and finalized practically. Anuj further explains to Vanraj that in matters of family everyone’s happiness and sorrows are thought about and everyone adjusts for each other. He tells Vanraj that all this needs to be taken care of because their family relations are already very complicated.

Vanraj tells Anuj that he doesn’t care about him or his practical decisions. He says he has finalized that Shahs and Kapadias will stay away from each other and this decision won’t ever change. Anuj asks Vanraj who he is to make decisions for everyone. Vanraj tells Anuj that he can make decisions about Shahs as they are his family. He says that his family will have to respect his decision. Anuj laughs and asks Vanraj how he can expect his children to respect his decision when he himself doesn’t respect Bapuji’s (his father) decisions.

Vanraj asks Anuj to stop his nonsense. Anuj asks Vanraj to shut up. Vanraj keeps on accusing Anuj and Anupama of snatching his family and ruining his life. Anuj asks Vanraj if he deceived Anupama after his arrival. He also asks Vanraj if he married Kavya after his arrival. Anuj further asks Vanraj if he distanced Samar from himself after his arrival. Flashback starts blurring and Vanraj’s present condition starts worsening. The Doctor asks the nurse to get the required injection ready. Shah’s tension increases. Kavya gets very tense but Anupama asks Kavya to stop crying. Anupama asks Kavya to keep faith in God.

She explains to Kavya that good will happen if we think good. Kavya asks Anupama from where she brings such strength. Anupama tells Kavya that life doesn’t allow some people to fall weak. She asks Kavya if she (Anupama) will fall weak, then who will handle Anuj, Anu, and her family. Anupama asks Kavya to keep faith that nothing will happen to their husbands. Kavya tries to keep faith in God. A doctor comes and tells Anupama that they will need to perform Anuj’s brain surgery. He explains that they need to take out blood clots from Anuj’s head. This information shocks and worries everyone badly.

Anupama gets worried and shakes. Kavya holds Anupama’s hand to give her courage. Ankush asks the doctor if brain surgery isn’t risky. The Doctor tells everyone that brain surgery is risky but at least there are chances that Anuj may survive. He asks family members to make a final decision within the next 2 hours as it’s urgent, otherwise, no option will be left to save Anuj. Anupama asks the doctor to proceed with Anuj’s brain surgery. Anupama’s sudden and quick decision shocks Shahs and Kapadias. She folds her hands in front of the doctor and requests him to save Anuj.

The curtains to Anuj’s ward open. “Oh Anupama” plays in the background. Anupama keeps faith that nothing will happen to “her Anuj” and he will get absolutely fine. The Doctor says okay. Later, injured Anuj is taken to the OT. Anupama and Kapadias run towards the OT. “Do Pal”, from the film “Veer-Zaara” plays in the background. Anupama recalls her happy moments with Anuj. She asks an unconscious Anuj to keep breathing. Anupama prays to God to be Anuj’s charioteer in the fight for his life.

Anuj’s operation starts. Anupama prays to God to take care of Anuj. The doctor inside the OT asks his staff to be careful and keep their whole focus on Anuj’s vitals as his surgery is very complicated. Staff replies okay sir. At night, Vanraj gains consciousness. In a lower voice, Ankush angrily asks Adhik where Barkha is. Adhik asks Ankush why he is suspecting Barkha as it is clear that Vanraj pushed Anuj from the cliff. Ankush asks Adhik if he has lost his common sense. He asks Adhik if he thinks that Vanraj would have pushed Anuj from the cliff and then in guilt, he himself also jumped from the cliff.

Ankush says he won’t spare Barkha if she is involved in Anuj’s accident. This scares Adhik. A nurse comes and informs everyone that Vanraj has gained consciousness. Shahs feels relaxed and runs to meet Vanraj. Samar stays confused. Anupama asks Samar to go and meet Vanraj as she is fine. Vanraj on the other hand again starts getting flashbacks of his and Anuj’s meeting, argument, and accident. The doctor asks Vanraj to calm down and gives him an injection. He informs Vanraj that this injection will make him feel a little drowsy but is important for him.

The doctor leaves and Shahs reach outside Vanraj’s ward. Drowsy Vanraj sees his family. Baa and Bapuji first enter Vanraj’s ward to meet him. Outside, Kavya wipes Paritosh’s tears and tries to calm him. On the other hand, Adhik asks Ankush if he should book an electric cremation or normal. Ankush angrily asks Adhik to shut up. He reminds Adhik that Anuj is his brother. Adhik asks Ankush to understand and analyze the situation practically. He tells Ankush that if Anuj is his brother, it doesn’t mean that he won’t die. Ankush angrily tells Adhik that nothing will happen to Anuj.

Adhik tells Ankush that Anuj will take a lot of time to heal. He explains to Ankush that till Anuj heals, they will have to handle everything. Anupama looks at Ankush and Adhik from a distance. This worries Ankush and Adhik. In the next episode, drowsy Vanraj will try to tell Anupama who actually pushed Anuj from the cliff. Samar will hear Anupama and Vanraj’s conversation and think that Vanraj pushed Anuj from the cliff. Later, Baa will try to emotionally manipulate Anupama. She will fold her hands in front of Anupama and request her to not get Vanraj arrested.
