Cuttputlli streaming now on Disney+ Hotstar

Akshay Kumar is back with what he is best at. As he is known to be the action king he brings to us a fantastic psychological crime thriller film named Cuttputlli which is the remake of the Tamil movie Ratsasan. It revolves around the story of a filmmaker turned cop who decides to investigate the teenage murders happening one after another in the town. Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta and Hrishitaa Bhatt sparkle in their roles as the female protagonists. Sujith Shanker and Joshua Leclair portray an excellent performance as a guy with genetic disorder and a psychopath. Chandrachur Singh is seen after a huge gap and manages to play his part well.

Disney+ Hotstar posted a reel of Akshay Kumar’s various cop avatars on their official Instagram handle and captioned it as, “Kasauli mein jo serial killer sabko Cuttputlli ki tarah nacha raha hai, use pakadne ke liye we need ek aisa officer jo sirf power game nahi, mind games bhi khel sakta hai. Just like Arjan Sethi. Watch the mystery unfold, in Cuttputlli. #CuttputllionHotstar on 2nd September”.

Actor Akshay Kumar uploaded the tralier of the movie on his Instagram and captioned it as, “3 Murders, 1 City, A Cop and A Serial-Killer out on the loose! #CuttputlliOnHotstar drops on 2nd September, only on @disneyplushotstar #CuttputlliTrailerOutNow #Cuttputlli”. Actress Rakul Preet Singh shared the poster of the movie on her Instagram handle and captioned it as, “Kabhi kabhi killer ko pakadne ke liye killer ki tarah sochna padta hai. Get into the mind of Kasauli’s serial killer with @akshaykumar in #Cuttputlli now streaming only on @disneyplushotstar”.

Actors like Joshua LeClair (Sadie Sparks), Sujith Shankar (Pyali), Chandrachur Singh (Zilla Ghaziabad), Sargun Mehta (Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh), Gurpreet Ghuggi (Khiladi 786), Hrishitaa Bhatt (The Chargesheet: Innocent or Guilty?) and Renaye Tejani are seen in prominent roles. The movie is directed by Ranjit M. and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh under the banner of Pooja Entertainment.

The movie contains several dark concepts like antisocial behavior, pedophile, irrumatio, sexual predator, murder, exploitation, child abuse, progeria, kidnapping and disabilities. The movie is Akshay Kumar’s second collaboration with Pooja Entertainment after action thriller film Bell Bottom. Cuttputlli is streaming now on Disney+ Hotstar.
