Kumkum Bhagya 22nd July 2023 Written Update Akshay’s truth. Mihika asks Ranbir why can’t he apply the sindoor. He tells that she knows his problem. He apologizes to Vishaka and tells that he can’t do this because they need to follow proper rituals. Vishaka asks him not to teach her anything and just do what she told him. She asks him not to give any reason or logic, it’s Puja Kumkum, and the ones who are going to marry can apply it. She asks Ranbir to fill the Kumkum in Mihika’s maang. Mihika gives the Kumkum to Ranbir. Ranbir recalls Mihika’s words. Mihika asks him to do a favor and save her from getting caught by her family. She asks him to just do the test and not refuse her family. She tells that if he stops then it will be a problem for her. He tells that her family isn’t her enemy. She asks him to help her.
He agrees to help her. He tells her that he will pass the test for her sake. He promises her. Mihika asks him to do it. Manpreet asks Vishaka and Mihika to not force Ranbir. Vishaka tells that she is doubting Ranbir and Mihika now. Ranbir worries. Vishaka tells that Ranbir and Mihika already took the kalash rounds. Akshay asks what’s the problem, it’s a blessing of the puja, they love each other and they should get married. He asks Ranbir to fill the Kumkum in Mihika’s hairline. Ranbir looks at Prachi. He gets hesitant. Prachi stops Ranbir and tells him that he can’t do this. Ranbir gets opposing her. She tells that it’s wrong. She tells Vishaka that a girl can apply to Kumkum at the time of marriage. Vishaka tells that Ranbir and Mihika have taken Kalash rounds.
Prachi tells that they didn’t take rounds around the fire. She gets emotional. She tells that it’s wrong to apply Kumkum. Ranbir tells that it’s just their beliefs. He agrees with Vishaka. He tells that the kalash rounds are enough for their Kumkum. He takes the Kumkum and goes ahead. Prachi holds his hand to stop him. The Kumkum drops in Prachi’s hairline. This shocks the family members. Akshay’s madness gets triggered by Ranbir’s huge blunder. He reacts madly. He rebukes Ranbir for applying sindoor to Prachi. Vishaka and Ashok get worried seeing Akshay’s behavior. Akshay tells that he has to remove the sindoor.

Akshay tells that Ranbir has done wrong. He takes Prachi with him. Mihika asks Ranbir what did he do. She gets upset with him. Vishaka tells Ashok that Ranbir was willing to fill the sindoor, which means Ranbir and Mihika have a relationship. Manpreet asks why did Akshay get so angry. Akshay tells Prachi that it’s her mistake and that she should have not stopped Ranbir. He adds that he didn’t apply sindoor to Prachi till now, then how can Ranbir apply it to her? He asks her why did she lecture Ranbir on Kumkum. He tells her that he can’t see the Kumkum. He asks her to clean it.
Prachi asks why is he behaving like that. He wipes it again and tells that it’s not getting away. She asks him not to hurt her. He tells that he is also hurt. Ranbir asks Mihika why is she angry. She asks doesn’t he know the reason. She tells that he has filled Kumkum in Prachi’s hairline. He tells that it was an accident. He reminds her words and tells her that he was doing it for her sake. He explains that Prachi held her hand and it happened by mistake. Mihika gets angry and stops him. He asks her not to hurt him and stay away. She tells that he has also hurt her. He gets to see her madness. Prachi gets to see Akshay’s madness.
Akshay tells Prachi that he will remove the sindoor completely. He cleans the sindoor. He tells that nobody will know it. She asks why is he doing this. Akshay tells that she is his wife and nobody can fill Kumkum in her hairline. He asks why did she get wrong done with her if she believes in rituals. She tells that it was a mistake. He asks her why didn’t she slap Ranbir. He tells that he will go and slap Ranbir. She stops him. He tells that he understands her and that she has to be under him. He tells that he didn’t touch her because of her word, but he is her husband. She asks if is he Akshay or not. She asks what’s wrong with him and did he go mad. She tells that he doesn’t own her. She asks him where is her Akshay who is cheerful, sensible, and supportive.

She tells that she will not tolerate this. He tells that he just can’t see anything wrong happening because he is her husband. She calls it nonsense. He asks her what she wants, and will he just see if anyone applies Kumkum to her, and if anyone hugs her. She asks him to go out because he is angry. She tells that they will talk when he gets normal. He tells that she needs to come to her senses. She pushes him out of the door and asks him to leave. He refuses to leave. She leaves the room. She asks him not to come after her. Ranbir asks Mihika to calm down. Mihika tells that she is in tension, Akshay got stressed and it’s not good.
Ranbir asks why is she behaving weirdly and whether is she okay. She apologizes to him. He tells that it’s a simple thing, the sindoor thing was just a mistake and she must understand. She asks him not to repeat it. She tells that everyone holds her at fault always. He tells that he is helping her. She tells that he is creating a mess. She worries that Akshay got disturbed. She asks why isn’t Ranbir worried. She questions if he has a relationship with Prachi. Ranbir angrily shouts yes.
