This news undoubtedly upsets him and he immediately decides to bring forward the wedding date of Ranbir and Mihika. At this time, Akshay also decides to take Prachi away on a honeymoon which leaves Ranbir utterly stunned. Ranbir finally confesses his love for Prachi to Mihika, after getting drunk on the terrace with Akshay. He also confesses to having tried to kiss her in front of Akshay, who then tells Ranbir that he plans on taking Prachi away for a honeymoon.
Akshay and Prachi set out on their journey, but their car lets them down. Taking a lift seemed to be their only option until Ranbir came along. He offered to give them a ride and Akshay gladly agreed, looking forward to enjoying the trip with Prachi. Yet during the drive, Ranbir put on an act of being ill and asked Akshay to take the wheel while he dozed off in Prachi’s lap in the backseat – an act that was meant to make Akshay green with envy.
