Yeh Rishta Abhimanyu falls in love with Akshara again. Akshara wishes Abhimanyu when she learns the news that he is becoming the MD of the Birla Hospital. She surprises Abhimanyu and sings a song for him. Abhimanyu gets into the memory lane and recollects the moments spent with Akshara. He enjoys her singing. The feelings of love get rekindled when he hears her singing again. He recollects their first meeting and the series that followed because he fell in love with her voice before seeing her. He feels Akshara’s singing is reviving the suppressed and forgotten feelings in his heart, which isn’t right. The memories get fresh and the visuals begin to haunt him. He excuses himself. His sudden leaving makes Akshara feel awkward.
He says that he has much love in the hospital. He lies about the emergency in the hospital. He rushes away from Akshara’s house, while she stands puzzled. He stops to ponder the feeling he just experienced. He knows Akshara is his ex-wife, Abhir’s mother, and Abhinav’s widow. He doesn’t want to cheat late Abhinav by thinking wrong. He says that whatever was there between Akshara and him is just their past, it can’t be repeated in their present and future. He doesn’t want to think of the past.
He tells himself that he has no right to think of the memories of Akshara and his marriage and love. He gets disturbed that he is redeveloping the same feelings of love for Akshara again.
