Kavya’s woes in Anupama raise the family drama. Vanraj apologizes for crushing Kavya’s expectations. When Kavya enquires if she should leave, he tells her that he doesn’t want to stay alone, but understands this turbulent situation is not the right time for them to be together. He continues by expressing his deep love for her and explains that he needs some time before taking further steps, as he doesn’t want to be held back due to someone else’s queries. Kavya realizes she has been too forward and concurs with him. Kavya admits she was wrong, but her love for Vanraj is still strong. Hasmukh wants to sidestep the conversation, offering that Kavya can stay in the house if she desires. Enraged, Leela smash her teacup and demands to know what Kavya wants.
She tells her daughter-in-law to go to her room and stop stressing herself out by showing her face. Kavya cries out, pleading for her not to be mad at her. Leela retorts if Kavya ever thought of them when sinning. Kinjal arrives and attempts to ease Leela’s temper. As soon as Leela leaves, Kavya asks Kinjal to ask Leela for forgiveness. To which Kinjal remarks that Leela’s anger isn’t unjustified. The young woman laments about how she used to be so beloved one day and now no one wants to see her face anymore.
Kinjal tells Kavya to stop weeping and acknowledges that things have been slipping from her control. She reminds Kavya that she is accountable for her current circumstances, as she has acted in the same manner with her father as Paritosh had done with Kinjal. Advising her to apologize but not demand an absolution, Kinjal goes on to say if there’s no forgiveness then it should be taken as a consequence of what she had done. Kavya swears off making any requests but still wishes to be pardoned.
