Anupama Anuj rejects Malti High voltage drama. Vanraj looks at Anuj, asking if something is wrong. Anuj initially denies any issues, but when prompted again by Vanraj, he reveals that he struggles with Malti due to her past behavior. He admits that although Anupama has forgiven her, he is still struggling to do so himself and it may appear as though he hates her. Vanraj asks for clarification if this is truly the case. Anuj expresses that he is hesitant to use a strong word for an elderly woman, but cannot comprehend his emotions. Vanraj advises him to push those thoughts aside on his special day. Anuj inquires about Vanraj’s well-being, to which he responds by saying he’s trying to be okay.
Anuj notes that Anupama has yet to arrive, and Vanraj agrees that he too is pondering her absence. Pakhi informs Anuj that Anupama has messaged that she is on her way and requests Romil to play the song. However, Anuj suggests waiting a little longer and wonders why he feels so unsettled. In excitement, Anupama reveals that she is bringing the biggest surprise of his life – a reunion with his mother. She adds that today marks the special bond between a son and his mother. The Shah family joins in the celebration, dancing with Anuj.
Soon after, Anupama arrives with Malti, holding her hand. As they approach, Romil stops the music and Anupama proudly shows them Malti’s embroidered ‘A’ on a cloth. This brings tears to Anuj’s eyes as he gazes at it. Upon arrival, Anupama witnesses everyone dancing and decides to retrieve Malti. Anuj questions her decision, expressing disappointment that she was aware of his issues with Malti’s presence but still brought her along.

To this, Anupama explains that a son’s birthday is incomplete without a mother’s blessings. As they all look on in shock, Anuj then asks Anupama if she is insinuating that Malti is his mother. She clarifies that upon receiving information from the warden, she searched for Malti’s son and showed them a photo that turned out to be Anuj’s childhood picture. This moment brings about emotions as Malti smiles through tears. Anupama informed Anuj that following the loss of his foster parents, he experienced feelings of loneliness. She mentioned how Kanha intervened and filled that void by removing Yashoda from his life and introducing him to Devki. Interrupting her, Malti addresses Anuj as her son but he reacts by telling her to stay away and asserting that she is not his mother.
