Curious, Agastya inquires about the whereabouts of his parents from Ashu, who reveals they are currently at Radha Rani’s residence. Overwhelmed with emotion, Agastya forms a bond with Ashu. Grateful for his treatment, Ashu expresses gratitude towards Agastya for covering the expenses. Imlie later locates Ashu and attempts to give him medication. Dadi’s ploy of falling severely ill successfully convinced Agastya to consider marriage. However, upon his departure, Dadi reveals she was merely pretending.
When Agastya returns and questions her motives, he sets two conditions for agreeing to the marriage. The first is that he needs to speak with Noyonika and hear her decision first. Despite his stepmother’s reassurances that Johri trusts her and would inform their daughter before sending a marriage proposal to Agastya, he emphasizes the importance of seeking her opinion rather than just being informed. Ultimately, Agastya states that he will make a decision only after speaking to Noyonika.

Nitya implores Arjun to seek retribution for his mother’s disgrace by teaching Kashvi a lesson. However, she is taken aback when Arjun stands in support of Kashvi. She accuses him of urging Kashvi to testify against her, but Arjun clarifies that he asked her to speak the truth. Jagdish intervenes, questioning how they can both behave this way when Nitya has already lost her job. Defending himself, Arjun declares that he will always protect his wife just as Jagdish protects his own. He also believes that his mother was wrong and indirectly responsible for a boy’s death.
Although he knows others will argue that she was simply doing her job, he points out that Kashvi is also just doing hers. Jagdish criticizes Kashvi for not considering the welfare of their family. Meanwhile, Nitya feels betrayed by her son and regrets arranging his marriage with someone she believed would be easy to control due to her village upbringing. But now, she realizes she mustn’t confront Kashvi at the moment or risk provoking Arjun’s protective nature further.
