The woman then recalls that this is also their family’s stall. Rishi receives a message from the broker informing him that they have not been able to secure the house. The woman questions why they need a home, as they seem to come from a well-off family. Rishi confirms this but explains that they still need a place to call their own. The kind lady offers to help them out. Sonal advises Malishka to put on a happy façade for Rishi and Lakshmi, while secretly feeling content within herself.
However, Malishka confesses that her happiness lies with Rishi. Sonal reminds her that she needs to win him back, and for that, she must remain composed and collected. Virender contacts Rishi and inquires about his whereabouts. Rishi responds that they are currently at their bungalow, which Virender had previously mentioned was available. He adds that Lakshmi is satisfied with the accommodations. However, he clarifies that he is staying in the under-construction house. Dadi takes over the conversation and requests for Rishi to come back home, emphasizing the importance of their family’s happiness. Rishi reassures Lakshmi that her presence brings him immeasurable happiness.
Similarly, Kiran confesses to Neelam that she has always been a winner, leading to her prominent position as Neelam Oberoi. She asks Neelam to fulfill her promise. Rishi doesn’t want his family to worry for him. As Rishi and Lakshmi exchange glances, Bani declares that they have come together and will continue to strengthen their bond with the family. Upon arriving at the shop, Imlie hopes that she won’t face the same punishment as yesterday. She plans to finally reveal her true identity to her boss and apologize for her behavior. As she approaches Agastya, he greets her with a smile and questions her fashion choices, wondering if her maid is absent today since she’s wearing torn clothes and broken shoes. He tries to fix a pricey sandal onto her foot but it doesn’t fit, so he suggests buying a cheaper one from a nearby market. Imlie replies that no matter the price, sandals are bound to get dirty. She then attempts to tell Agastya the truth but he interrupts her by reminding her of an upcoming catering order that she needs to prepare for tonight. Determined to impress the client and win Agastya’s approval, Imlie assures him that she will work hard. Inwardly, Imlie makes a mental note of impressing her boss in hopes of receiving a bonus.

The chaat vendor’s wife explains to Rishi and Lakshmi that the house they are standing in belongs to her relative. They had plans to renovate it but had to leave for the village unexpectedly. As a result, she ended up purchasing the house herself. She admits that she has not yet had a chance to fix it up. Rishi recognizes that the house is currently their best option and Lakshmi agrees, saying they will turn it into a home. Rishi suggests indulging in some pani puri when they get hungry. He then reminds Lakshmi that this fortunate opportunity was made possible by her acquaintance and dismisses Shandaar as unreliable.
Rishi and Lakshmi are in charge of cleaning the floor. As Rishi begins sweeping, he suddenly starts sneezing. Lakshmi takes over the broom from his hand. She kindly asks him to take a break, tying her hair back to prevent any issues with cleaning. In that moment, Rishi thinks about how much Lakshmi cares for him and how lucky he is to have her in his life, despite her not reciprocating his feelings. Suddenly, he notices a potential danger as pipes start falling toward Lakshmi, prompting him to swiftly save her. Feeling grateful for being rescued by him, Lakshmi thanks Rishi but also tells him to let go of her now. Abhay inquires with Sonal about Malishka’s state, to which Sonal confirms that she is indeed calm. Kiran expresses doubts about Malishka’s potential as Neelam’s daughter-in-law.

However, Neelam herself appears and asserts her determination to always come out on top, declaring herself as Neelam Oberoi. She proudly states that Malishka is and will continue to be her daughter-in-law. Lakshmi turns to Rishi and asks him to take care of some tasks, but he initially refuses, saying he is Rishi Oberoi and won’t do such work. Not wanting to push him too far, Lakshmi agrees to handle it herself. However, Rishi playfully admits that he is just kidding and proceeds to carry out the task at hand. As Lakshmi ponders where Rishi should sleep for the night, she wonders where he would be most comfortable resting.
Neelam expresses her regrets to Abhay and Kiran, to which Abhay reassures her that if Malishka becomes their daughter-in-law, there is no need for an apology. Kiran states that Malishka cannot bear to be separated from Rishi. Neelam acknowledges that she once couldn’t accept Malishka as her daughter-in-law, but now it is her responsibility to fulfill her dream. She inquires about Malishka’s whereabouts and promises to bring her with her immediately. When Kiran questions her, Neelam confidently declares that Malishka will have a traditional “grah pravesh” ceremony today as she is now officially part of their family.
She adds that even if Rishi and Lakshmi try to hide, she will never let them get married because Rishi is meant to marry Malishka. Kiran expresses gratitude for Neelam’s efforts in saving Malishka, to which Neelam affectionately states that Malishka is like a daughter to her as well. Lakshmi expresses her fear of mosquitoes, as they tend to hover close to the ears before biting and drinking blood. They seem to have a liking for her sweet blood and end up taking more than necessary. Rishi inquires if this is common in her hometown and when she plans on adapting to the city lifestyle. Rishi then prays for their unity to never be jeopardized. Malishka gazes at his picture with tears in her eyes, wondering why he betrayed her. Neelam appears and consoles her, urging her not to succumb to tears and become stronger instead. She assures Malishka of her support despite all that has happened, reminding her not to let their enemies win by giving in to sorrow. Neelam then invites Malishka to join her at the Oberoi Mansion as her daughter-in-law, addressing herself as “mom”. Overwhelmed, Malishka echoes “Mom” and follows Neelam’s lead towards the mansion.
Rishi is grateful to God for giving him the strength to speak the truth and lead him on the right path. Without it, he may have already married Malishka and lost Lakshmi. All he desires now is for Lakshmi to confess her love for him. As they discuss ways to keep mosquitoes out, Rishi climbs onto something and begins tying the cloth as a curtain for the window, he asks Lakshmi to hug him. Confused, she asks what he needs from her. Rishi clarifies that he simply wants a rope, but then expresses his true desire for her to say “I love you”. Disappointed that she hasn’t said it yet, Lakshmi remains silent.
