Kundali Bhagya 28th September 2023 Written Update Preeta’s return trip. As Nidhi steps into the house, Girija inquires about her relationship with Karan. The Luthras then question the reason behind Girija’s doubt. Girija explains that she mistook another woman as Karan’s wife and sent her to his room. Nidhi confidently states that she is indeed Karan’s wife and warns Girija against saying anything else. Karan suspects that Preeta had come home that day as his heart testified to him already. Rishabh also believes Karan after hearing Girija’s words.
Shrishti and Preeta return home accompanied by Mohit and Gurpreet. As they settle in, Rajveer returns, beaming at everyone. The following day, Rajveer prepares to leave and informs Shrishti that he is headed to the Luthra household for a Dahi-Handi smashing competition that Shaurya has challenged him to. However, Shrishti becomes upset upon hearing this and firmly tells Rajveer that he cannot go. On the other hand, Nidhi assures Shaurya that he will emerge victorious in the challenge, expressing her unwavering confidence in him.
She promises to use all her efforts to prevent anyone else from winning. Meanwhile, Shrishti discovers that Rajveer has disappeared and vents to Preeta about his disrespect in leaving for the Luthra House. However, Preeta believes that Rajveer should face consequences for his actions and offers to bring him back home. This idea unsettles Shrishti. Will Preeta follow through with her plan to retrieve Rajveer? And will this Janmashtami be the long-awaited chance for Preeta and Karan to finally reunite? Upon spotting Bilawal, Shlok deceives Adil by claiming that the rest of the family is currently attending the Ganesh Chaturthi pandal. He attempts to divert Adil’s attention away from seeing Bilawal. Leading Adil to the altar, he expresses doubt over their true intentions during the puja. Sumeet inquires of Shlok about the identity of a certain person. Shlok reveals that the individual is Adil, Naaz’s fiancé. Bilawal recalls hearing Adil speaking to someone and pondering his whereabouts. To keep Adil from entering Bilawal’s residence, Shlok and Sumeet restrain him and take him away. Upset at his subordinate’s failure to locate Shlok’s supposed body, Bilawal presents a photograph of another unidentified corpse with a Hindu holy thread on its wrist as evidence. Sumeet holds the real Adil captive under her watch.

As Rakhi is about to mention Preeta, Nidhi interjects by stating that she is Karan’s wife. Rishabh calmly tells Nidhi not to overreact and reminds her that Girija is still new to the family and needs time to adjust. Mahesh then suggests that they all prepare for the dahi handi festivities. The Luthras inform Nidhi about Shaurya and Rajveer’s upcoming competition in the dahi handi event. Feeling remorseful, Girija apologizes to Karan. However, Karan realizes that he cannot ask Girija about Preeta by showing her photo at this moment and decides to wait and ask later on.
Shanaya requests Rajveer to give her a ride to Luthra’s house tomorrow. He suggests they take a taxi with Palki instead. In the meantime, Preeta and Shrishti arrive. Shanaya brings up dahi handi and departs. Curious, Preeta asks Rajveer if he plans on participating. Not wanting to cause concern, he fibs that they were at the market. Preeta reminds him of last year’s incident and expresses her disapproval. Despite Shrishti’s reminder of the danger, Rajveer insists he must go to Luthra’s house for the festivities. Desperate for permission, he implores Shrishti to convince Preeta, but she firmly tells him it’s not an option.

Shaurya remembers Rajveer’s warning to stay away from Shanaya, along with the memory of his heroic act of saving Palki. Just then, Nidhi joins him and he confides in her about his determination to win the dahi handi competition. Nidhi reassures him that he will surely emerge victorious and takes her leave. Later, when Aarohi calls, Nidhi shares all the details with her. Aarohi reveals that Preeta is using manipulative tactics to get what she wants. Nidhi agrees, adding that Preeta’s ultimate goal is to win Shaurya’s affection because he is the only one who can prevent her entry into the Luthra household.
Daljeet believes that Shaurya’s interest with Shanaya is a sign from God that she is meant to become wealthy. She envisions a dance performance between Shaurya and Shanaya. Mohit inquires about Rajveer’s feelings towards Palki and Shanaya. Rajveer responds by saying he has feelings for Shanaya because she is Palki’s sister, and he feels the need to protect her for Palki’s sake. Mohit notes that both Shaurya and Rajveer have an interest in Palki, and everyone desires her due to her positive qualities. Rajveer agrees with Mohit’s observation. Mohit reveals that Shaurya and Rajveer are participating in a dahi handi competition to impress Palki. In response, Rajveer instructs Mohit to go to sleep.
Preeta informs Shrishti that Rajveer is currently not at home. Shrishti speculates that he must have gone to participate in the dahi handi celebration. Preeta reassures her that she will go and retrieve him. In response, Shrishti suggests letting Rajveer enjoy himself for the time being and scolding him once he’s back. Meanwhile, at the Luthra residence, Rajveer and Shaurya make a lively entrance and begin dancing. Their partners Shanaya and Palki soon join in. As they all dance together, Varun jests about Rajveer managing to take both Radha’s for himself. This prompts Shaurya to playfully taunt Palki for not reacting to Varun’s comment.
