Kumkum Bhagya 2nd October 2023 Written Update New threat. Ranbir claims that Akshay merely tolerated Khushi for the sole purpose of binding Prachi to him through marriage. In response, Akshay warns Ranbir to keep quiet or face his wrath, but Ranbir stands by his statement, acknowledging that it may be a bitter truth for Akshay to swallow. Prachi interjects, urging them to put their past quarrels aside for the moment and focus on finding the person responsible for kidnapping her daughter. Turning to Rana, she questions who ordered him to commit such a heinous act when suddenly, Akshay launches himself at Rana in a fit of fury.
He tries to justify his violent outburst by claiming that Rana had dared to harm Khushi, but other family members intervene and stop him. Prachi assures Rana that he will not be arrested by the police and can leave, giving him hope. He gestures towards Ranbir and reveals him as the mastermind behind their scheme. Mihika sits next to Khushi as she sleeps and vows to use Khushi as a way to bring Prachi and Ranbir closer, only to tear them apart. With a sinister smirk, Mihika picks up a knife and devises her plan to break up Ranbir and Prachi.
Mihika seethes with anger, consumed by thoughts of Prachi and Ranbir. Determined to send Prachi away, she quietly makes her way towards Khushi’s room while Prachi falls asleep beside Ranbir. Once inside the room, Mihika reveals that she is responsible for bringing Ranbir and Prachi together and will ultimately tear them apart. As Khushi sleeps soundly, Mihika uses a disguised voice to frighten her by calling out her name in the darkness. Still traumatized from being kidnapped, Khushi panics and calls out for Prachi. Startled awake, Prachi rushes out of the room to check on Khushi’s safety. Mihika awaits Prachi’s arrival with a knife in hand as she approaches Khushi’s door.

Mihika has made the decision to send Prachi away and intends to speak with her immediately, in order to ensure that Ranbir stays away from her. Akshay is feeling uneasy and plans to go find Prachi before Ranbir can win her over. On the other hand, Abhay encourages Akshay to have confidence in himself, believing that any girl would be fortunate to love him. When asked, Abhay assures Akshay that even Prachi will fall for him. While all this is happening, Mihika enters Ranbir’s room and notices Prachi sleeping next to him. She is about to wake her up when a nurse advises against it, as Ranbir needs rest. At this point, Mihika decides that she must remove Prachi from Ranbir’s life completely by killing her tonight. After some time, she goes to Khushi’s room and strategizes using her as bait to lure Prachi outside.

Mihika retrieves the knife from Khushi’s room, the same one used by the goon on Ranbir. She warns Khushi that she plans to use it to harm Prachi. After darkening the room, Mihika uses a voice modifier on her phone to frighten Khushi into calling Prachi. Upon hearing the commotion, Prachi quickly rushes to Khushi’s room. Mihika silently follows behind her and attempts to attack her from behind after turning off the lights. However, Prachi manages to dodge in time and senses something amiss as she starts to flee. Just then, Ranbir suddenly awakens from a dream in which someone was chasing Prachi with a knife.
Mihika attempts to stab Prachi, but Akshay intervenes and leads her to another room. Prachi becomes frightened and turns on the light to identify the intruder. In another location, Akshay disarms Mihika and accidentally cuts himself in the process. Enraged, Mihika scolds him for preventing her from stopping Prachi from taking Ranbir away. Akshay warns her that she cares deeply for Prachi and if she harms her, he will harm Ranbir instead. However, Mihika threatens to kill him if he interferes with her relationship with Ranbir. Upon learning of Prachi’s love for Ranbir, Akshay becomes furious and is ready to strike Mihika when Prachi steps in to stop him.
Prachi instructs Akshay to apologize to Mihika for physically confronting her. Akshay, unable to disclose Mihika’s intentions, apologizes to her. In the meantime, Ranbir arrives in search of Prachi, but she becomes concerned upon seeing him out of bed. Ranbir inquires about Akshay’s injured hand while Prachi urges him to return to his room and rest. However, this interaction leaves Akshay and Mihika feeling disheartened at the close bond between them. Khushi visits Ranbir’s room and expresses her jealousy towards Prachi for spending more time with him and declares her love for Ranbir. Ranbir tries to distract Khushi by pretending to be scared, and even suggests that they sleep together so he can feel safe.
Meanwhile, Akshay returns to his room looking worried and expresses concern about Ranbir’s mental state. He is afraid that Ranbir will soon realize how dangerous Mihika truly is. Abhay also becomes concerned and urges Akshay to warn Ranbir, as Prachi and Khushi’s lives are in danger. However, Akshay believes that if Ranbir finds out the truth, he will not marry Mihika and Prachi will continue to have feelings for him. Later, Mihika goes to Vishaka’s room in a panicked state and reveals that she fears Prachi is trying to steal Ranbir away from her.
