Bhagya Lakshmi 4th October 2023 Written Update Neelam reveals. Bani and Shalu comfort Lakshmi as she cries, regretting that she let Rishi go on his own. She reminds them that their fate is already written and there is no use worrying about it. Still, she cannot allow Neelam to suffer due to her selfishness and they would never be content without her blessings. Upon hearing of Rishi’s return, Malishka rushes to the scene but pauses at the doorway. Neelam expresses her frustration to Rishi for leaving her alone, without considering how she will manage without him. Rishi appears dejected and confesses his deep love for Lakshmi and knows he cannot be happy unless she is. As Rishi explains to Neelam that it was Lakshmi who opened his eyes and brought him back home, Neelam’s anger flares and she declares that Lakshmi’s name will never be spoken in their home again.
Neelam says that Lakshmi has got Rishi’s mind and heart under her control, so he isn’t able to see anything. She adds that he didn’t see his mom and didn’t think of her once. Rishi replies that he loves her a lot and he is aware of the fact that he can’t stay happy by giving her sorrow. She asserts that she hates Lakshmi a lot, and nobody shall take Lakshmi’s name in the house. She asks him to end his ties with Lakshmi. She also forbids Rishi from ever going back to Lakshmi.
Overhearing this, Karishma informs Kiran that Neelam not only convinced Rishi to return but also plans on convincing him to marry Malishka. Not understanding, Kiran receives clarification from Karishma that she is referring to the discussion of Malishka and Rishi’s marriage. Meanwhile, Rishi suggests they put the topic aside for now and attend to Neelam’s hunger strike as she must be famished. Catching on to his ploy, Neelam pretends to be angry while Karishma instructs the staff to set the table. Will Rishi give in to Neelam’s request for him to marry Malishka? Bhagya Lakshmi 4th October 2023 Written Update Neelam reveals:
Neelam expresses her confidence in her son’s return, despite Rishi questioning her actions and warning her of the consequences. She reveals that she feels better now that he is back, while Rishi reflects on how carefully he considered his choices. Neelam shifts the blame onto Lakshmi and asserts that she was certain Rishi would return, even if it meant risking her own life. Rishi silences her and instructs Mukesh to bring Neelam some juice, as Karishma admires his decision to come home. Neelam forbids any mention of Lakshmi in their house and takes the juice from Mukesh’s hand to drink it. Karishma shares with Kiran that Neelam plans to convince Rishi to marry Malishka as well. Suddenly, Harleen/Rishi’s Dadi interrupts their conversation to inform Neelam that Rishi has not returned after all, snapping her out of her thoughts.
Neelam says that Rishi is playing hide and seek with her and calls for him to come inside, knowing he’s hiding. Despite asking everyone if they heard Rishi calling her, no one responded. She realizes Rishi hasn’t returned and questions Virender about it. Blaming Lakshmi, she cries over how her confidence in her upbringing has been shattered. Neelam falls to the ground while Malishka comes downstairs and asks if Rishi is back. However, seeing Neelam’s distressed state, Malishka becomes angry at Lakshmi for possibly stopping Rishi from returning. As Neelam tries to climb the stairs, she nearly falls but Malishka rushes and catches her. Remembering her promise to Malishka, Neelam pats her head before losing consciousness.
As Ayush makes his way to Rishi’s home, Shalu calls him to inform him of Virender’s visit. He assures her that he will discuss it in person since he is already on his way there. At the Oberoi’s house, Malishka tends to Neelam and lays her down, while Kiran praises her for caring for Neelam despite not being a part of the family. Meanwhile, Rishi is busy playing with Lakshmi. Virender scolds him for not bringing Rishi back home, but he defends himself by stating that it was Neelam who didn’t want Rishi to return as she knows she cannot see Lakshmi if he does.

In a flashback, Lakshmi pleads with Rishi to go back home to Neelam, while Rishi tells Virender that he will only return if Virender admits his mistake in supporting Lakshmi. Virender then decides to take his leave, stating that he knows Rishi made the right decision, and advises Lakshmi to think about her happiness. Fast forward to the present, Virender informs the family that he convinced Rishi to stay, while Lakshmi is still attempting to persuade him to return home. He scolds Karishma for assuming the worst and assures her that he will take care of his wife’s well-being.
Meanwhile, Sonal confides in Malishka that she doubts Rishi and Neelam’s marriage will happen. As Neelam regains consciousness, Virender urges her to eat for his sake and explains that her attempts at blackmailing Rishi will only push him further away. Rishi inquires about Ayush, acknowledging his role as an employee who still understands his duties. Ayush arrives dressed for work and declines any money from Rishi, emphasizing that their relationship should not involve financial matters. In addition, Ayush shares news of Neelam’s decision to bring Malishka into the family as her daughter-in-law. Rishi and Lakshmi are left shocked by this news.
