In defense of her actions, Katha openly states that she had no regrets because her sole intention was to protect her son, who is now leading a content life. Despite Kailash’s efforts to get Yuvraj to confess the reason behind his actions, Yuvraj chooses to go to jail, which deeply saddens Kailash and the other family members. Determined not to let the culprit behind Yuvraj’s behavior go unpunished, Kailash vows to take justice into his own hands – causing fear in Reet.
As Maya attempts to intimidate Katha, Katha bravely declares that she would reveal the truth to her family, leaving Maya taken aback. Ahead in the show, Katha will step into Viaan’s hospital room, where he is regaining consciousness. He looks at her, and she informs him of her choice to end their alliance. Viaan is taken aback and begs Katha not to leave. Despite his plea, Katha finds it difficult to leave the room and eventually exits, overcome with emotion. Katha attempts to reassure Aarav about his mother’s recovery before giving him some water. Meanwhile, Maya approaches Katha and admits to testing Aarav’s reaction. She also mentions that Katha’s confidence has affected her own, but reassures Katha that after witnessing the state of Aarav now, she knows Katha has no choice but to choose him over Viaan. Feeling helpless, Katha receives news from the nurse that Viaan has regained consciousness. Despite Aarav’s pleas for her to visit Viaan, Katha remains silent. Kavita then arrives on the scene. Encouraged by Maya, Katha convinces Aarav to go home with Kavita since Viaan is not yet well enough to speak with anyone. As Kavita takes Aarav away, Katha shoots a glare at Maya while the latter smirks in response.

Katha enters Viaan’s room and sees the distress on his face. She remembers Yuvraj’s words about knowing their secret, causing Viaan to struggle with breathing. Without hesitation, Katha rushes to his side and reassures him that everything is under control, urging him not to worry. She embraces him tightly, calming him down. In a sincere tone, she apologizes for putting Viaan in this situation, adding that he doesn’t deserve it. In response, Viaan empathetically states that Katha also doesn’t deserve to go through what she went through before. Opening up about her past experiences, Katha shares how she used to lose hope but eventually found a new reason to live life. As they reflect on their love story in the past tense, Viaan becomes suspicious and questions Katha about it. With sadness in her voice, she tells him that their relationship cannot have a future together – much to Viaan’s shock.
Viaan tries to convince Katha to start anew, leaving all their troubles behind. However, Katha explains that Yuvraj now knows their secret, making it too risky to take any chances. Despite this, Viaan pleads for a chance to make things right and help her move on from the past. Remembering her happy times with Aarav, Katha assures Viaan that they must separate in order to protect their loved ones’ peace. As Viaan refuses to let go of her hand, Katha finally breaks free and walks away. Though Viaan attempts to follow her, he falls to the ground in defeat. Meanwhile, Katha arrives at the reception and breaks down. Both of them can’t help but reminisce about their time together.

The doctor and nurse carefully transport Viaan to his bed, attempting to maintain his stability. Upon noticing Katha in tears at the reception, Ehsan rushes over to her. With tearful eyes, she entrusts Ehsan with the task of caring for Viaan. Shocked by her request, he pleads with her not to leave Viaan’s side. Assuring her of their support, he reveals that he knows about her and Viaan’s secret. Overcome with emotion, Katha begs Ehsan not to reveal Maya’s malicious plan to Viaan before leaving.
Upon arriving at home, Katha is immediately bombarded with questions from Aarav regarding Viaan. She explains to him that she has separated from Viaan, which leaves Aarav devastated and full of inquiries. Katha tries her best to console him, but he is determined to bring back Viaan. However, Katha refuses to disclose the reason behind their separation. This revelation causes Aarav to break down, as Viaan was not just his father, but also his close friend and confidant – how could Katha do this? Despite the emotional turmoil, Katha remains silent.
