Barsatein 18th October 2023 Written Update Kiss moment. As Jai excitedly shares the news of his potential marriage with one of Khanna’s sisters, Reyansh playfully teases him and reminds him that as his best friend, he is always in the loop about his life. Jai laughs at his competitiveness when Reyansh jokingly suggests getting married on the same date as well. However, Jai calls him a competitive fellow and pokes fun at how even their wedding dates must match now. Reyansh dismisses this idea, stating that their future in-laws are mutual and there is no need for competition. Playfully, he asserts his seniority in the relationship according to their family’s hierarchy, but Jai brushes it off and laughs along.
As Reyansh and Jai converse, the topic of their beloveds arises. Jai excitedly mentions that his potential marriage with one of Khanna’s sisters, whom he adores, is nearly arranged. However, unbeknownst to them, they are speaking about the same person. Reyansh then opens up about his mixed feelings towards his crush, who can be both sweet and hostile towards him. Jai giggles at this revelation and shares his undisclosed emotions regarding their relationship dynamics.
He tells Reyansh how both are shy and have not confessed their feelings yet. This leads Reyansh to call him a coward. However, they playfully start teasing each other about their qualities, with Jai claiming that if a girl is smart, she will choose him. But Reyansh disagrees and says that if she has a big heart, she will choose him instead. As they continue to banter, Reyansh gently pushes Aradhana against the wall and asks for a second chance to make things right. Just then, Kriti appears with Malini and sees them nearby. Reyansh has Aradhna pinned against the wall, questioning her actions. She promises not to continue speaking about his father behind his back. As she tries to walk away, Reyansh stops her and urges her to agree with him. Giving in, Aradhna acknowledges that Reyansh has changed and supported Kimaya. She admires his understanding and maturity, and as a result, agrees with him. Seeing an opportunity for a reward, Reyansh leans in to kiss her. However, Aradhna puts a hand on his lips to stop him. As Malini arrives, she inquires about Aradhna’s presence. Struggling to respond, Aradhna is interrupted by Reyansh who mentions they are planning a surprise for her.
Once Aradhna and Reyansh depart, Kriti approaches Malini and influences her against Aradhna. She claims that despite warning Aradhna, she continues to pursue Reyansh. Kriti also shares that Kimaya and Reyansh are getting married and others may misconstrue their closeness. Malini’s daughters and Aradhna surprise her with a dance, while a beautiful song plays in the background. They embrace their mother, joined by Reyansh and Jai. Meanwhile, Viren receives a video from the blackmailer, causing him to become anxious and recall his troublesome past. To everyone’s shock, Viren faints and is later checked by a doctor who informs him that his blood pressure is high.
The doctor advises him to avoid alcohol and asks the staff to leave, acknowledging Jai and Reyansh as Viren’s sons-in-law. As Malini asks her daughters to leave, Jai and Reyansh accompany the doctor. Concerned for her husband, Malini inquires about his condition but he reminds her of the doctor’s recommendation to rest and she leaves him alone. During their phone conversation, Vivek asks Kadambari to keep the divorce papers a secret until after Reyansh’s wedding. After agreeing, Kadambari is urged by Vivek to meet the Malini family. Meanwhile, Aradhna assures Malini that she can handle everything for the engagement since she knows the preferences of Jai and Kriti.
As Malini worries about Viren falling ill, Aradhna remembers something Kriti had said and informs her that Kimaya’s wedding was arranged. Excited, Aradhna asks who the groom is but is interrupted by Kriti who suggests waiting for Viren to speak with his family first. However, Aradhna persisted in asking and was told it was a surprise before being given some tasks. Kriti advises Malini to avoid discussing Kimaya’s wedding with strangers, as people can be selfish. Malini agrees, stating that no one should interfere with Kimaya’s happiness. Kriti believes Aradhna is the biggest obstacle in their lives and wants to humiliate her. Meanwhile, Aradhna receives a call from Reyansh and goes to meet him.
To her surprise, Reyansh has arranged a special date for her. Angry at first, Aradhna scolds Reyansh for lying about being trapped in a fire. They argue, and Reyansh asks for a second chance. He reminds Aradhna that despite the challenges she faced, she was able to rebuild her life and reunite with her family- so he too deserves another chance. However, Aradhna refuses to trust him again and cannot forget what he did to her before. Reyansh urges Aradhna to start anew with him and reminds her of their bond. However, Aradhna expresses that she has several personal issues to resolve. In response, Reyansh assures her that he will stand by her side through it all.
Despite this, Aradhna declares that he is the root of her problems. Giving an ultimatum, Reyansh reveals that his father will come the next day to bring home his daughter-in-law with the same ring she returned to him. He explains that if she wears it, he will understand her desire to move on; but if not, then he will realize that she was never truly his. With anticipation, he declares that he will wait for her decision. As Aradhna attempts to leave, Reyansh pulls her close and kisses her passionately as it starts to rain. Breaking away from the kiss, Aradhna walks away while Reyansh believes that she will be his forever if she accepts the ring. Meanwhile, Jai plans on proposing to Aradhna the following day.
