On the other hand, Rishi struggles to hold onto a branch and fight off exhaustion. Despite Lakshmi’s encouraging words, he finds it increasingly difficult to keep his grip. Raghav inquires if Katha would have accepted his marriage proposal without any external factors. In a flashback, we see that when Raghav was abroad, Katha called him and suggested they get engaged upon his return. Initially hesitant, Katha eventually agrees when Raghav puts a ring on her finger with excitement from their friend Aarav. While Katha is overwhelmed with emotions, Raghav is filled with joy. Later, outside of Katha’s house, Viaan stands frozen at the gate and cries. Seeing Katha remove her engagement ring due to discomfort, Raghav apologizes and suggests getting it adjusted by a jeweler the next day. Meanwhile, Viaan meets one of Katha’s neighbors who informs him that she has left some time ago. He then meets Yuvraj and learns about the family’s misfortunes since Kailash’s departure. Filled with remorse, Viaan asks where he can find Katha but Yuvraj refuses to disclose her whereabouts.

During a discussion at the Ganpati pandal, Savi confronts Durva about her involvement in a fire incident. Ishaan then urges Durva to apologize to Savi for her actions. After Durva apologizes, Ishaan also apologizes on her behalf to Shukla’s mother before leaving. Shukla questions his mother about why she kept the truth hidden, to which she replies that she didn’t want him to lose his job. Savi assures them that Ishaan is a good person who stands for the truth, so they shouldn’t be afraid of Durva. However, Shukla expresses his disappointment with Durva for insulting his mother. This makes Savi feel upset. Later, Leela suggests a potential match for Ishaan and Surekha suggests finding a suitable match for Durva as well. Both agree that they should look for someone from an open-minded and nuclear family.

As Malishka nears the cliff, her eyes scan the area for any sign of Rishi and Lakshmi’s survival. Meanwhile, Lakshmi struggles to climb the cliff, but her determination falters when she sees Malishka with a remorseful expression. Overwhelmed with emotions, Lakshmi questions Malishka if she had tried to kill them, remembering the terrifying moment when their car was pushed off the road by a truck. Meanwhile, the doctor updates Neelam on Virender’s health status. She inquired if he had suffered a heart attack. The doctor confirms that it was a minor one, but the chances of recurring are higher now. After providing the prescription, the doctor takes his leave, and Karishma instructs the servant to fetch Virender’s medication while Neelam stays with him.
She scolds him for worrying about small things, causing him to agree with her, while he listens peacefully. Elsewhere, Malishka confronts Lakshmi and berates her for being a burden in everyone’s life, including Rishi’s. She tells Lakshmi that she deserves to die as she grits her teeth in anger. Despite this, Lakshmi refuses to give up on her life and holds onto Malishka’s leg to prevent her from approaching further. At the Oberoi household, Karishma discusses with Neelam Virender’s topic of brainstorming. Neelam shares that Virender has a habit of keeping upsetting matters away from family members. However, Virender wonders how he managed to convince Neelam about his heart attack, leading her to offer him medicine. He contemplates whether the doctor gave him the Vitamin capsules knowing about his plan of faking a heart attack.
Harleen arrives and anxiously inquires about Virender’s well-being, but Karishma reassures her that he is now doing fine. Both Karishma and Neelam exchange puzzled looks as Virender signals for Harleen to stop. Meanwhile, Lakshmi informs Malishka that she will protect Rishi with her life, prompting Malishka to taunt her by saying that she is indirectly killing Rishi as well. Verbalizing her intense hatred towards Lakshmi, Malishka plots to eliminate her and prevent her from living happily with Rishi. Seeing a nearby rock, Malishka considers using it as a weapon to ultimately silence Lakshmi, who could potentially expose the truth about her if left alive.

In an act of frustration, Malishka feigns a fall and uses the opportunity to grab a rock and hit Lakshmi on the head. As Lakshmi begins to fall, Rishi comes to her rescue, holding her up. Despite Lakshmi’s protests, he reluctantly lets go of her hand. In that moment, both of them realize their deep feelings for each other and they fall together, embracing each other as they remember their memories. Meanwhile, Ayush grows concerned as he is unable to reach Rishi and Lakshmi on the phone. Shalu and Bani also notice their absence and call Ayush, sensing that something is amiss.
Malishka helplessly sits down after committing the murders of Rishi and Lakshmi, while Kiran and Sonal return home. Kiran begins to lash out at Sonal for always supporting Malishka, expressing her misery over witnessing her real daughter’s actions. Sonal tries to calm Kiran down. Meanwhile, Ayush, Shalu, and Bani gather to discuss finding a solution to locate Rishi and Lakshmi. Bani suggests involving the police, but Ayush disagrees.
