Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd October 2023 Written Update Confession. As Malishka shouts at the sky, telling God to never send them back, she continues laughing as the car floats atop the lake. At home, Karishma asks Virender why he’s worried, while Harleen advises her to think about it later. Virender signals Harleen, making it clear that he’s only putting on this act to bring Rishi and Lakshmi back home. Neelam assures Harleen that they will do whatever it takes to bring Virender back to his normal health and holds his hand. Meanwhile, Malishka walks along the highway, recollecting her moments with Rishi while Ayush, Shalu, and Bani drive past her. Although Shalu notices her, she doesn’t pay much attention as she calls Rano to ask if Lakshmi has contacted her.
Unfortunately, Rano’s response is negative which leads Shalu to conclude that Lakshmi hasn’t reached the airport yet. She urges Ayush to drive faster to reach their destination on time. Upon arriving at the temple, Malishka is reminded of Lakshmi and Rishi’s wedding and begins discussing it. At the same time, two friends happen to be nearby at the lake, enjoying themselves. Spotting a car in distress, they quickly rush to help and one of them jumps into the water to search for survivors. However, despite their efforts, there is no one inside the car.
Malishka then covers her forehead with ash as she speaks to Matarani about how she followed her plan perfectly. She tearfully confesses that she loved Rishi deeply but ended up killing him with her own hands. Malishka, with bloody hands, declares that Rishi would never have chosen her over Lakshmi, so she decides to end his life as well. Bani breaks down in tears and Ayush rushes to comfort her as she almost collides with a police jeep. He halts the car just in time and steps out to apologize to the officer who is now rambling on. Worried for Shalu, the officer interrogates her and she confesses that her sister and brother-in-law have gone missing while on their way to their honeymoon.

The officer then reveals that they received a call about a car falling off a cliff and gives Ayush the vehicle’s number. Realizing it’s the same car Rishi was using, Ayush drives off with the officer by his side. Meanwhile, when Malishka arrives home, Kiran anxiously asks if she is responsible for Rishi or Lakshmi’s disappearance. Malishka’s eerie smile reveals her satisfaction as she shares that she has gotten even with Rishi and Lakshmi by ending their lives, bringing her a sense of calm. She receives a slap from Kiran, who reminds her that she is her daughter. Sonal intervenes and turns Malishka towards her, questioning if she has left behind any incriminating evidence.
Malishka confidently declares that she is not foolish enough to leave any proof connecting her to the deaths. Meanwhile, at the lake, Ayush, the police, and the sisters anxiously watch as divers search for any sign of bodies. Ayush notices the Lakshmi Weds Rishi poster on the back of a car and confirms it as Rishi’s vehicle. The police officer sends details about the truck involved to higher authorities. Shalu and Ayush get into an argument while Bani suggests that Rishi and Lakshmi could have possibly survived and reached a hospital after escaping from the car before it fell off the cliff. Ayush heads over to discuss this theory with the police, who take pictures of both Rishi and Lakshmi. In the meantime, Sonal persists in asking Malishka for any evidence.
