Anupama 29th October 2023 Written Update New Drama. Upon learning that Anuj is cooking for Anupama, Malti becomes upset. Barkha remarks on the inseparable bond between Anuj and Anupama. This only fuels Malti’s anger. Meanwhile, Romil takes pride in Anupama’s success. However, she humbly gives credit to everyone who supported her. When Anuj serves food to Anupama, Malti can’t contain her fury. On the other hand, Anupama is impressed by his efforts. At the same time, Leela notices Dimple enjoying pani puri but their neighbors criticize her as Samar passed away recently. Leela intervenes and takes Dimple back home. Later on, Hasmukh sends a message to invite Anupama for a visit with them.
Without hesitation, she gets ready to go to the Shahs’ house. Malti is taken aback as she recalls Anupama’s promise to prioritize their house more. Barkha assures her that Anupama and Anuj have gone to the Shah house after work. However, Malti reminds her that Anuj had a meeting scheduled after office hours. Barkha clarifies that it’s Ankush who is handling the meeting. Adding on, she mentions how irresistibly attractive the Shah house seems to be for Anupama. Trying to empathize, she acknowledges that this may be difficult for Malti to accept but they have come to terms with it. She briefly excuses herself mentioning her appointment at the spa before leaving.
Meanwhile, Malti can’t help but feel disappointed that Anupama’s focus seems to be solely on the Shah house and how even Anuj and Anu cannot function without her presence there. Hasmukh consults Anupama and Anuj on how to help Vanraj overcome his trauma. He expresses his remorse for causing them trouble in the matter. Anuj assures him that they will find a skilled doctor to treat Vanraj. Hasmukh also mentions that Vanraj is struggling with the loss of both his sons, Samar’s death and Paritosh’s upcoming departure. However, Anuj reminds him that it wouldn’t be fair to force Paritosh to stay. Anupama agrees and emphasizes that they should not clip their children’s wings in pursuit of their own dreams. Leela then enters with Dimple, promising to find a solution to the problem.

Leela shouts to say that Dimple was outside eating pani puri with a group of young people. Leela objects to this. However, Dimple defends herself by saying that there were also girls present and they were her students. Leela then mentions the societal pressure to conform, even if one is married. But Dimple counters by explaining that she is pregnant and simply wanted to have some spicy chaat. Anupama interjects, asking Leela to respect Dimple’s choices. Dimple questions whether she should just die instead, to which Leela responds with religious beliefs about sin.
Anupama stands by her daughter-in-law’s right to make her own decisions, regardless of society’s opinions. Dimple points out that no matter what she does, people will always find a reason to criticize them. Anupama emphasizes the importance of prioritizing Dimple’s happiness over societal expectations. Leela informs that Dimple is now considered their daughter-in-law. Anupama clarifies that while Dimple used to be her daughter-in-law, she now comes from a humble background and is aware of her limitations. Anuj and Hasmukh show their support for Dimple. Leela then requests Anupama to take Dimple away, warning her not to do anything that may make her forget about her pregnancy with Samar’s child.
Seeing the tension, Dimple decides to leave and retrieve her belongings. Reflecting on their roles as parents, Anupama realizes that just as they were there for their own parents, now their children should be there for them. She expresses a desire to connect with elderly individuals who may have been abandoned or are childless. Anuj inquires about her thoughts, to which she responds by expressing an idea of creating an old age home for those who are alone or have no one to care for them due to various reasons. Kavya updates Leela about her doctor’s appointment as she is now seven months pregnant. Leela remarks on how quickly time has passed and apologizes for her previous comment about six months being fast. She expresses her love for the baby and Kavya asks why.

Leela admits to making a mistake by lashing out at the baby in anger, but acknowledges Kavya’s efforts in taking care of Vanraj and the family after Samar left. Kavya humbly states that she may not be a perfect daughter-in-law, but she is trying to be a good one. Leela then lovingly touches Kavya’s tummy and feels the baby kick, remarking that it kicked its Dadi first. This brings tears to Kavya’s eyes. On the other hand, Malti notices Anuj and internally acknowledges that he is not her son, but Anupama’s husband. Romil arrives at the scene and asks if he can invite his friends over for a study session. Malti immediately shuts down the idea and tells him that he cannot study with friends. However, Anupama and Anuj support Romil’s request. Anupama approaches Dimple and inquires about her tears and if she believes she has done something wrong. Dimple denies this.
Anupama reassures her that Leela will be understanding and explains that as elders, it is important to adapt our perspectives. She assures Dimple that Leela means well and will empathize with her situation. Dimple expresses that she cannot let go of Samar and wants to cherish his memories moving forward. Anupama clarifies that she never asked her to forget him. The two embrace, and Anupama gently combs through Dimple’s hair before releasing it. She then places a bindi on Dimple’s forehead and admires her reflection in the mirror. Anupama encourages Dimple to fully embrace life, gesturing for her to smile. Pakhi becomes displeased upon witnessing this interaction.
