Bhagya Lakshmi 20th November 2023 Written Update Rishi’s stand. Rishi prevents Lakshmi from sticking her hands out of the car window, playfully she does the opposite, assuring Rishi that he will always support her no matter the challenges they may face. They eventually arrive home where Neelam anxiously awaits them. Upon seeing Rishi, she asks if Lakshmi caused him harm, which slightly annoys him but he masks it. He then announces that Lakshmi will not be going to the hospital and instead will stay at their house with everyone until she recovers naturally. Neelam disagrees and warns Rishi about potential struggles, but he stands firm in his decision, stating that he will leave the house alongside Lakshmi if their family cannot accept her.
As Malishka leads Sonia into her room, she reveals how Lakshmi, their mutual enemy, is suffering for taking the love of her life away from her. In another part of the house, Rishi inquires Virendra about his loyalty to Neelam and questions if he would ever abandon her for a mere superficial reason. Virendra responds with conviction that he would never even consider it.
Rishi turns to Neelam and declares that he cannot remain in this house as he has pledged his fidelity to Lakshmi and promises to stand by her through thick and thin. He expresses his deep love for Lakshmi and emphasizes that his life is incomplete without her, thus deciding to leave the house. With a gentle smile, he takes Lakshmi’s hand, offers her a rose, and begins to make his way out of the door. His only desire is to see her precious smile which he cherishes dearly. As Rishi drives, his gaze is filled with love as he glances at Lakshmi. He gently wipes her face with a tender expression, while she returns his look with an innocent smile. Virendra observes this sweet moment through the mirror and can’t help but feel happy. However, his sudden cough catches Rishi’s attention, causing him to ask if Virendra is alright. Meanwhile, Lakshmi suggests that kada would help cure Virendra’s cough, which brings a small smile to his face as it reminds him of the time she had given him the same remedy long ago. This sparks a glimmer of hope within him. Rishi also feels hopeful, thinking that perhaps Lakshmi will soon recover since her loving nature remains evident despite her current state of mind.
Sonia bursts in and tells Malishka that she is pleased with Lakshmi’s emotional state, as it means she won’t have to see Rishi and Lakshmi get married. Malishka’s face gets a pleasant smile upon hearing this news, but she quickly reminds everyone that Rishi is already married to Lakshmi, meaning they will have to accept her eventually. Sonia, clearly unimpressed, rolls her eyes at Malishka’s words. Undeterred, Malishka confidently declares that fate is on her side and soon she will be Rishi’s wife, relieving Sonia of any worries. Meanwhile, Neelam urgently calls Rano to come to the Oberoi mansion and sort out some confusion with Karishma and Harleen.

Later, when Rishi’s car pulls up to the mansion, Lakshmi voices her discomfort with staying there due to the constant scolding from everyone. She trembles as she speaks but Rishi promises to protect her from all harm. However, a new predicament arises for Rishi as soon as he steps foot inside because Neelam announces that it would be best for Lakshmi’s well-being if she stays at Rano’s house for the time being. Neelam expresses that she initially accepted Lakshmi as Rishi’s wife, but now she believes Rishi may struggle to care for her given the new circumstances. She suggests that it may be best for Lakshmi to stay at Rano’s place. Rishi strongly disagrees and threatens to leave the Oberoi mansion if Neelam is not willing to accept Lakshmi’s situation.
In addition, Rano expresses her support for Neelam by stating that if she were in her position, she would also stand by her son’s love. Amidst the tension, Malishka intervenes by offering Rishi a place to stay at her house until Lakshmi’s condition improves since she considers him a friend. However, Rishi politely declines her offer. Meanwhile, Kiran is panicking at home and worries about Malishka’s well-being at the Oberoi mansion. This all changes when Mr. Bedi reveals that Lakshmi has regressed into a childlike state and therefore poses no threat to Malishka’s safety.
