Kumkum Bhagya 17th December 2023 Written Update Prachi alarmed. While conversing with Dadi, Harleen accidentally drops a glass, causing her to feel uneasy. She immediately contacts Rajvansh and asks him to come home immediately due to her heightened sense of tension. Agreeing to her request, Rajvansh decides to finish up his remaining work before heading over. Shortly after, Purvi’s family arrives at Ashutosh’s house where she is introduced to his grandmother by Ashutosh. Bina then suggests that Ashutosh take Purvi around the house, which he does. Meanwhile, the attender offers coffee to Rajvansh who notices the time and decides to leave swiftly.

As he leaves, the attender observes the weather and can’t help but feel as though something ominous may occur. In another part of town, Jassi and his bodyguard visit Rajvansh’s company in search of him, causing him to quickly take his phone and depart from there. Jassi approaches the attender and inquires about Rajvansh’s whereabouts. The attender asks for Jassi’s identity, to which he responds by fabricating a story about being Rajvansh’s childhood friend. The attender informs him that Rajvansh has just departed.

Jassi then leaves the area. Bina takes Purvi to the kitchen and requests her to prepare food for them. Diya reminds Bina of their family dinner plans and Ashutosh adds that his relatives should also experience Prachi’s exceptional cooking skills. Ashutosh’s grandmother cautions Prachi about the marriage, as others had advised against it due to Purvi’s lack of a father and, in turn, proper manners. Despite this, Jassi harbors intense animosity towards Rajvansh and contemplates ending his life.

Bina and Ashutosh ask Purvi to cook the food and set an impression on their guests. Prachi says that she will help Purvi in cooking. Bina says that guests will question if they find Prachi missing. Purvi asks Prachi to go and not worry. She says that she can cook good food, as Prachi trained her well. Diya says that Ashutosh and his mom aren’t doing right, they are making Purvi cook by inviting her for lunch. Purvi says that she is happy to cook for the family. Diya feels Purvi deserves the best. She prays for Purvi. Bina tells the guests that she has explained to Purvi about the kitchen. They like Purvi.

They ask Ashutosh to get habitual, as he is getting married soon. Purvi asks them if they would like to have tea. Bina and Ashutosh get happy and praise her. They ask Purvi to make tea for the guests and then ample time to cook lunch. Ashutosh tells that the weather is cold and they must have tea. Prachi smiles when Purvi gets praised. One of the ladies asks Prachi why Purvi is getting misjudged by the people, she doesn’t have a father and people think she has no values. Prachi is shocked to hear this. Another lady says that Jasbeer/Jassi always reaches Purvi’s house to woo her.

She asks if Purvi has entertained him that he is chasing her. She speaks about Purvi in an insulting way. Prachi gets crying hearing the taunts. She says that the people who say such things have a cheap mindset. The lady tells her that everyone is speaking ill about Purvi and the news/gossip has spread a lot. Prachi and Manpreet turn upset. Ashutosh’s dad asks them to forget it and think of the marriage. Prachi gets quiet. Bina says that these rumors don’t matter to them. Prachi goes to the washroom. Rajvansh leaves RV corporation. He drops his file. He sits to pick up the papers. Jassi watches him from afar. He takes a knife and approaches Rajvansh. Rajvansh leaves in the car. Jassi gets shouting at his aide. He follows Rajvansh. Prachi sobs while thinking of the taunts. Manpreet reaches her and consoles her. She asks Prachi not to cry.

Prachi says that she feels bad to hear these things about Purvi. Manpreet says that people have a habit of talking and they will never stop. Prachi says that nobody should taunt Purvi’s character. She adds that the guy who marries Purvi will be lucky. She is tense about Purvi’s future. Purvi gets tea for them. She hears Prachi sharing her pain. Prachi says that the times have not changed and they are tolerating everything for Purvi’s sake. Manpreet asks her not to overthink. Prachi says that she is worried for Purvi, and even Ranbir would have wanted this if he was alive. Manpreet asks Prachi not to cry in front of Purvi, or else the latter will get sad. Purvi goes from there.

Jassi calls up Purvi to give the news that her favorite RV is going to die. She doesn’t take the call. He tells that he will kidnap her after killing RV. Purvi cries and goes to the kitchen. Diya asks the matter. Purvi hides the matter, but Diya insists she speak up. Purvi says that Prachi was crying like she was in deep sorrow. Diya asks the reason. Purvi says that Prachi is hearing the bad taunts about her. Diya is ready to fight for Purvi. Purvi tells her what people are talking about behind her back. She adds that Prachi is hearing the taunts because of Jassi and RV. She fears that her relationship will break and that her character will get blamed. She doesn’t want Prachi to bear the blunt.

She says that marriage is important to her now. She asks Diya to stop talking about RV. Diya consoles and hugs her. Purvi promises that she will never make Prachi cry, she will keep her respect and not let the marriage break. RV’s mum Harleen waits for him. She is worried for him. She feels like something is going to happen to RV. The family speaks to RV. Rajvansh tells Harleen that he is on the way and will be home in some time. He complains about the headache. She asks him to come soon. He gets his dad’s call. He tells him that he is coming in sometime. He asks him to handle Harleen.
