Kumkum Bhagya 19th December 2023 Written Update. Krishna almost collides with Purvi, who is standing in the middle of the road. Upon recognizing her, Krishna inquires about the situation. With a worried expression, Purvi explains that she needs to see her friend who was involved in an accident. Krishna tries to calm her down and offers to take her to her friend. Ashutosh’s grandmother reminds Prachi of the rumors surrounding Purvi and requests that she gift clothes to all 500 members. Prachi agrees, and the grandmother comments on the shape of the roti. She then summons Purvi, but Diya informs them that Purvi has gone to help Rajvansh after he was in an accident. Jasveer notices Purvi’s absence and assumes she does not care for Rajvansh.
His bodyguard suggests leaving before the police arrive and implicate them in Rajvansh’s death. Jasveer concurs and leaves, believing Rajvansh to be deceased. Later, Purvi and Krisha arrive at the site of the accident. Together, they transport Rajvansh to the hospital in Krishna’s car. Upon learning that Purvi had rushed out of their house to help Rajvansh, Ashutosh’s grandmother remarks to her, seemingly validating the rumors about her. Prachi chimes in, declaring that the marriage alliance between their families is now out of the question. In response, Ashutosh’s grandmother criticizes Prachi and her family for their perceived arrogance and threatens to end the engagement.
On the other hand, Prachi defends herself and her family against Ashutosh’s grandmother’s comments. Frustrated by the situation, Prachi, Manpreet, and Diya plan to leave but are stopped by Ashutosh who apologizes on behalf of his family’s behavior. Krishna finds himself caught in a traffic jam. He then brings Rajvansh to his house and contacts the doctor, requesting an urgent home visit. The doctor agrees to come promptly. Meanwhile, Harleen is concerned about Rajvansh and wants to go search for him, but is dissuaded by Vicky and Hermal. Vicky offers to go to the office and have Rajvansh speak to Harleen, before making his exit from the scene.
After witnessing Ashutosh’s actions, his grandmother accuses him of being a hen-pecked husband. He pulls her aside and reprimands her for this behavior. Prachi then questions Ashutosh’s grandmother, asking what exactly Purvi did wrong by going to Rajvansh for help, as he had previously saved her from Jasveer. Additionally, she reminds the family that they were all aware of Jasveer’s attempt to forcibly marry Purvi, yet no one stepped in to offer assistance.
