Bhagya Lakshmi 20th December 2023 Written Update Malishka Balwinder team up. Malishka and Sonal relish their small victory as their plan has successfully begun with Balwinder and Rano’s approval. She pours some wine for both of them, feeling relieved after a long time. In the meantime, Lakshmi recounts the horrors she faced in the mental asylum to Rishi, and how Ayush disguised himself to rescue her. Rishi reassures her by saying that he understands her struggles because she has always been this way. Shalu and Bani join them in the room, presenting Lakshmi with new toys and games that they bought for her, causing her to jump with excitement.
Elsewhere, Balwinder daydreams about Lakshmi, a smile never leaving his face as he finally sees a glimmer of hope in his life. He confidently claims to have hit two birds with one stone – marrying the love of his life while becoming the wealthiest man in his neighborhood. Rano visits the Oberoi mansion to discuss bringing Lakshmi back to their household. She explains to Rishi that she now understands there is no future for him and Lakshmi, making it smart to have her return to her paternal home. In response, Rishi becomes upset and declares he will not let Lakshmi leave.
Karishma sides with Rano, acknowledging that Lakshmi no longer has a place in the Oberoi mansion. Despite this, Rishi reminds everyone that Lakshmi is his wife and that should not be forgotten. On the other hand, Lakshmi expresses her desire to remain where she is with Mintu instead of going back home. When Neelam suggests sending Lakshmi to an asylum for treatment, Rishi disregards her statement. The question remains: will Rano’s efforts result in bringing Lakshmi back home? Harleen and Lakshmi are having a great time playing together. Lakshmi compliments Harleen’s skills, but her attention is quickly diverted when she sees Shalu and Bani arriving with a large assortment of toys. She is overjoyed at this surprise. As Rano visits the Oberoi mansion, Lakshmi eagerly tells Rishi that they can play with all the new toys later on. When Rano approaches them, Lakshmi doesn’t recognize her and Rishi introduces them to each other. While Lakshmi continues to play with Shalu and Bani, Rano pulls Rishi aside. She expresses her concern about their situation and how the doctor has filed a complaint against him. If the police were to search their house, they would send Lakshmi to a mental asylum and arrest Rishi.
To avoid this, Rano suggests that Lakshmi could stay with them instead. She promises to take good care of her along with her sisters. However, Rishi disagrees and insists that Lakshmi will stay with him at this house. Rano brings up an important concern to the Oberoi family, regarding Lakshmi’s safety here. She suggests that it would be best for Lakshmi to stay at her house, as there is a risk of being taken to a mental asylum if the police were to find her here. Rano reassures the family that she and Lakshmi’s sisters will take good care of her.

Neelam and Karishma support this suggestion, stating that it would be beneficial for Lakshmi to stay with Rano. However, Rishi remains unwilling, expressing his inability to live without Lakshmi. As he storms out, he notices Lakshmi and Bani playing snake and ladder. Inviting him to join in, Lakshmi tries to involve Rishi in their game. Neelam approaches Rishi with an urgent matter, stressing the need for him to listen. She provides two options, suggesting that Lakshmi either be sent to a mental asylum or Rano’s house. Reminding him of the potential consequences, Neelam implores Rishi to make a decision. After gathering Lakshmi’s belongings, Rishi informs her that she will be staying at Rano’s house for a few days.
Meanwhile, Malishka learns from Balwinder that Rano has been unsuccessful in bringing Lakshmi out of the Oberoi mansion. This prompts her to express her concerns to Balwinder about their financial gain being dependent on Lakshmi leaving the mansion. In response, Balwinder reassures her that he will convince Rano and advises her not to worry. Sonal inquires Malishka whether they should consider an alternative plan. Malishka affirms that their current course is the most effective. She emphasizes the importance of removing Lakshmi from the Oberoi mansion. Lakshmi assures Rishi that she intends to remain by his side. However, Rishi raises his voice and warns Lakshmi of the consequences if the police catch her there.
Balwinder contacts Rano to brainstorm potential solutions for getting Lakshmi out of the mansion. She reminds Rano that she will only receive a payment if she succeeds in this task, otherwise, she will get nothing. In the meantime, Rishi brings out Lakshmi’s luggage and asks Rano to take good care of her. Despite Lakshmi’s pleas, Rishi promises to visit her every day. Nevertheless, Lakshmi insists that he refrain from doing so and departs under Rano’s care.
