Purvi gets a smile on her face, while Prachi and Tandons are still in disbelief. Ashutosh and his family appear shocked seeing Purvi’s fate turning good. The people ask Rajvansh to leave and have some shame left. Rajvansh turns and goes away. Purvi thinks he left. Ashutosh smiles that Rajvansh accepted defeat and went away. Rajvansh heads to the temple and gets the sindoor from the aarti plate. He decides about the Kumkum Bhagya of Purvi and himself in a jiffy. He heads back to Purvi. The people get amazed to see Rajvansh impulsively filling the Kumkum in Purvi’s hairline, without asking for Purvi or her family’s consent. Prachi is shocked to see RV’s move, while Purvi stands frozen. Diya is the only one happy for RV and Purvi, as she feels they are made for each other. Ashutosh can’t believe his eyes. Purvi looks at RV and seems happy with his move when he takes a stand for her respect.
Rajvansh and Purvi have an eye lock, with several questions arising in her eyes. Diya smiles like she achieved a big victory. Rajvansh tells the people about Harleen’s words, Kumkum is a fate for a wife, and from today, Kumkum Bhagya of his name belongs to Purvi. He announces that Purvi is his wife, and nobody should dare speak a word against Purvi. He says that he won’t hear any insult because her respect is his respect from now on. He adds that Purvi is Purvi RV Malhotra and everyone should respect her. Prachi and the family don’t know how to react. They also stand like dummies along with Ashutosh’s family. Harleen gets worried about RV. Bau Ji says that he doesn’t have a phone to call. Harman arrives home with bad news, which makes the family tense.
Harleen asks about RV. He says that he couldn’t find RV, and even the police failed to find him. He is glad that there wasn’t any casualty in the riots. He shares his worry with them. He tells that RV has got into a fight with Jasbeer, and the inspector cautioned them about the goon. He adds that Jasbeer is MLA’s son, and politically strong. He doesn’t want RV to get enmity with Jasbeer. He decides to arrange security for his son. Harleen fears that RV is missing because of Jasbeer. He says that Jasbeer is in jail, but when he gets released, then they have to be cautious of him.
The family worries for Yug and RV. Rajvansh asks Ashutosh and Bina to think well and speak. He calls Ashutosh an unlucky man for losing Purvi, who is a diamond. He praises Purvi’s good character and values. He says that Ashutosh rejected Purvi and invited bad luck for him. Yug is shocked to witness RV and Purvi’s Kumkum moment. Rajvansh sees Yug and says that even Yug knows Purvi deserves a nice guy in her life. He says that Purvi is now his wife and he won’t hear anything against her. He asks Ashutosh not to take his wife’s name. He rebukes Ashutosh for staining Purvi’s name and character. He says that Purvi’s family stands by her because they know Purvi is right. He answers the people well, and Yug is pleased to watch the wonderful scene. Rajvansh asks Ashutosh to realize his mistake. He counts Ashutosh’s mistakes. He reminds him how Ashutosh has always neglected Purvi and hurt her feelings.
He says that Ashutosh didn’t deserve Purvi, who has good morals, values, and character. Ashutosh says that he will not hear anything against him. He asks RV to understand that marriage doesn’t happen by filling Kumkum. He asks him to complete the rituals. Rajvansh asks him to shut up and not speak of rituals and traditions when he doesn’t value any person or relationship. He then turns to Purvi’s family and apologizes to them. He tells Prachi that he has taken Purvi’s responsibility by thinking well, he knows what values, morals, and emotions mean and he also knows the importance of Kumkum. He admits that he will marry Purvi in front of the entire society.
He makes a promise to Purvi’s family. He says that his family will come to talk to them and fix the marriage date. He assures that he will get his baraat and take his bride with dignity. He asks Prachi to keep Purvi as his deposit. He thanks Prachi and makes a leave, without speaking to Purvi. Purvi gets emotional that Rajvansh defended her character and took her responsibility without asking for anything in return. Rajvansh and Purvi share a moment and then he leaves with Yug.
Purvi looks at the Kumkum, while the family discusses the next happening. RV tells Yug that he has filled Kumkum and now whatever will happen is already destined. Vishaka says that everything happens for the good, RV is a rich man and he is decent. Prachi says that they don’t know anything about RV. Ashok says that RV is nice, sincere, and good-valued. Prachi admits that RV is a nice person, but she wants to know about his family. Manpreet thinks if RV’s family will accept Purvi or not. RV tells Yug that he won’t hide anything, he will tell everyone that he wants to marry Purvi socially and they accept her.
He doesn’t think they will reject Purvi. Manpreet says that their financial status doesn’t match with Malhotras, and that could become a reason for his family to reject Purvi. RV and Yug come home. Harleen and Harman get relieved seeing RV okay. RV wants to tell them about his marriage with Purvi. He stops them for an important revelation. He says that he needs to discuss something really important. Harleen asks him what’s the matter. RV says that he didn’t plan anything, but it just happened. They ask him to just stop the buildup and say it.
